This was a great find. I am Greek and not easily swayed by touristy stuff but have broadly traveled and honestly think this place salvaged our weekend. Here is what we loved: Approach to this part of the island is very beautiful. Think golden wheatfield, not overbuilt, serene. Quiet and chill. Loungy not clubby. The antidote to boots and pants kitch in other pants of island. Lovely small beach. Green crystal waters. Sand but with small gravel in beach. No sandblasting. Sand will not go everywhere. Be aware that if you have small kids water deepens pretty quick. But just adorable naturalistic landscape. The restaurant club house does not violate this vibe but blends in well. We loved the serene styling of the place. Shade and cool to escape to and have a meal or coffee/drink. The baths are something! Open air, gorgeous, Great architecture. With showers (warm) too. Good parking. Food and drinks. Very good. Expensive for what it is, but quite edible. Good melitzanosalata, huge salads. Nice calamari. Choose carefully as some dishes are def overpriced. Some advice to the management; price up the costly items (eg steak, fish) not coke or the cheap stuff. Psychological factor: anyone will pay for quality but pricing up regular items will sour customers - hence other reviews. Happy to pay a premium overall to enjoy a day in a tasteful environment with people that don't offend. Day beds on beach way too expensive (90 euro for two, most expensive on island). No other shade on beach. We felt this was way too punishing. We sat on sofas and it was fine as we don't like roasting anyway. Pic says how nice sheltered area was.
Overall: definitely go, but be vigilant and choose wisely to have a...

Read moreWe spent the day at Listia beach on September, 1st. We paid 120 € for 2 front line sun beds and ordered 2 cocktails (17 € each) and 2 smoothies (12 € each). The afternoon was ok, even if, honestly, this private beach is overpriced for the service delivered. When we ordered the bill, the waitress « forgot » the inclusions. When we arrived, the team advised we had 10 % off on food and drinks, as we sat at the front line. The lady asked us to pay 60 euros for the cocktails and smoothies. So she added 2 euros on the cocktails and didn’t apply the discount. We complained regarding the total amount but she said it was too late because we paid by credit card. She also said that she was not informed about the deduction and that the « menu was an old one » this is why cocktails were more expensive. Then we talked to the manager and asked him to apply the right price and get refund of the difference 7,80 euros. This is a matter of principle. I felt unrespected and I won’t come back. This kind of behaviour makes me sick and it is totally unprofessional and dishonest. I do not...
