Last stop before leaving Lesvos. We ordered the omelet/sausage breakfast at the Status Cafe, placed nearby the airport. Apparently all the locals, were enjoying their Sunday breakfast as well. The place was buzzing with conversations and everyone seemed to enjoy the ocean view and espressos. Really service-minded staff. I reckon, they wear sneakers for a reason. They were all over the place, helping hungry customers 🙂. Though the place was packed, they took our orders within minutes. I'm glad that we took the time, to make this pitstop on the way to the airport. The food was delicious, the best frappe on the island and the orange juice so fresh. The perfect end to a fantastic holiday.

Η ξαδέρφη μου είχε μεγάλη όρεξη για κρέπα. Εγω είμαι πιο πολύ του αλμυρού οπότε επισκεφτήκαμε το κατάστημα αυτό γιατί κάλυπτε και τα δύο μας γούστα. Το προσωπικό εξέφρασε μια πρωτόγνωρη φιλικότητα η οποία ήταν στη δική μας περίπτωση καλοδεχούμενη καθώς μας μίλησαν στον ενικό. Η κρέπα ήταν 3/5 γιατί είχε ελαστικότητα και δεν κοβόταν εύκολα. Τα μακαρόνια φούρνου ήταν οκ με λίγα κομμάτια αλλαντικών και δύο τυριά που δεν ταίριαζαν γευστικά/σε υφή μεταξύ τους και ήταν λίγο νερουλά λόγω της φρέσκιας ντομάτας. Παρόλα αυτά είχαν γεύση σπιτική. Καλύψαμε τις ανάγκες μας και θα ξαναπηγαίναμε για να δοκιμάσουμε κάτι άλλο. Αξιζει να σημειωθεί ότι το κατάστημα προσελκύει κυρίως άτομα μεγαλύτερα σε ηλικία και έχει ένα στυλ κλασσικο ως μαγαζί με μια αρκετά ζωηρή ατμόσφαιρα.

Nice Cafe at a good location and suitable for families with kids to play in the back area!

Since it was very close to our hotel, we frequently visited Status Cafe. This stylish restaurant with incredibly friendly staff gave us the opportunity to have both dinner and breakfast.
