Santa Maria Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Nafplio

The food would rated as 4 stars, however, if you go in restaurant, you don't want just feel up your belly, but enjoy the service. Here is no service at all.

The older weighter was very unfriendly to our group from the moment we entered. It was already longer discussion to sit us. Then I clearly said, that I want Dorada and I became other fish, which I took without discussion, even though is was a mistake. The other dish was also not according to the order (I supposed to get stuffed tomato and pepper and got 2 tomatos).

We came with little children and they can not always sit quite, so after longer sitting they started to become more loud and move around. This I would understand that it is annoying to other guest and we were acting and trying to calm them. The weighter were just screaming at them in Greek, having very unfriendly pose.

The top was that the weighter pointed out, that a 1,5 year old kid was eating not very accurate and some food was under table! Really?! The 1,5 year old supposed to be able to eat like an adult without letting any food on the floor?

The restaurant should have been advised us that the kids are not welcome and that only calm sitting and clean eating creatures are allowed.

It is s 1st time experience in kid-friendly Greece and there are plenty of decent restaurants in the area, so no...

We came to this restaurant as a group of 4 for lunch. We got our table pretty fast and our order got taken fast too. Thought we had to wait in a long time to get our food, and it all was coming in different times. In that way, the last person in our group got their order in around 15-20 minutes after all other had their and were finished.

Food. Not special, therefore the prices are too high in our opinion. We spend around 90 euro for main food (4 dishes), one salad, bread, water and beer. One person ordered a medium-rare steak, but got a well-done instead (full fried, photo attached). Also, in that steak was found a piece of plastic (photo attached). When we mentioned that to the waiter, he said that it was medium, lol.

Overall, we do not really...

To be honest we first walked in the wrong restaurant that we plannend for but we stayed because the atmosphere was good and the (how do i call this ?) Main lady was very welcoming.

This was the best dish I had since my trip to Greece.

I reccomend the stuffed burger with cheese to anyone ! It was very delicious, great spices and the cheese they used was just perfect with the meat. Also they served fries with it and a salad with a balsamic sauce and fresh tomatoes in it.

If you go to Tolo, surely try this or the pork souvlaki, you can't go wrong with those !

Ps. the chocolate ice at the end was also a nice ending. Friendly staff, good food, good pricing, what more do you want ?
