ZORKA Greek restaurant & bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Propontida

I just discovered this restaurant and bar a few days ago and I’m honestly amazed. The food is outstanding, the prices are very affordable, and the service is extremely friendly and fast. Unlike many places in the area where the staff often seem overwhelmed, here everything feels relaxed and well-organized. The view is beautiful, there’s convenient parking right in front, and the whole place is new with a very pleasant atmosphere and great music. The coffee is excellent as well!

It’s a pity I didn’t find this place earlier – finally, we have a restaurant and bar here that combines modern Greek cuisine with great coffee at accessible prices. This is exactly what our town was missing!

The food here was not just satisfactory, it was pure poetry for the taste buds! From the extraordinary cheese balls and Chios Mastello fried cheese (absolutely out of this world), to the rich and flavorful shrimp saganaki, and finishing with the light, buttery-soft fried squid, every bite was a delight. The fries were also a highlight, huge portion and perfectly seasoned.

The beer and wine were served perfectly cold, which is always amazing and appreciated. We loved the atmosphere with low-volume music that wasn’t overpowering, and the service was SUPER fast. ZORKA was one of the best restaurants we experienced during our holidays in Greece. It’s just a pity we only discovered it on our way back to the airport!

We stopped for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. Everything was absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Our highlights were definitely the Cretan ntakos and mix grill for 2. The service was excellent too, super friendly and welcoming.
