CHANG | Thai Street Food Athens — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Smyrni

I'd like to start this honest review by saying that I have quite high standards when it comes to Thai food so the dishes I've tried so far from this place left a lot to be desired.

First of all, the quality and quantity is inconsistent. The same dish tasted different and even had different ingredients at different times I ordered (I tried pad krapao 3 times and each time it was like a different dish).

Some dishes were a big disappointment and didn't taste anything like how they are supposed to taste (one of the curry dishes I tried is easily the most tasteless curry I've ever tried, while the kuey tiew soup was like overpriced instant noodles), but I give an extra star for some good dishes I tried, such as the Tom yum that was quite flavorful.

I'll give it a chance again in a few months time, but for now I won't be ordering from this place again...

I can’t believe all the good reviews here. This is less than mediocre Asian food I really can’t call it Thai. Tried pad Thai, other than the 1hour and 15’ delivery time it was stale full of oil and nothing in there other than chewy scallions that I had to spit out and a few sprouts. Wondering if any of the people leaving good reviews ever tried authentic Thai food....

Πολύ περιποιημένα πιάτα με καλά υλικά και καλομαγειρεμένα. Καθότι δεν έχω εμπειρία από Ταϊλανδέζικο φαγητό την πάτησα με τα καυτερά. Παρότι τα αντέχω, ζήτησα να είναι μετρίως καυτερά αλλά μάλλον έκανα κακή εκτίμηση. Πονούσε η γλώσσα μου από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος του γεύματος. Με τόσο κάψιμο έχασα τις γεύσεις, κρίμα γιατί η προσπάθεια του μαγαζιού φαίνεται να είναι καλή. Τα υπόλοιπα: Εγκάρδιο καλωσόρισμα και ευγενικό σέρβις. Πολύ ζεστό για απογευματινό καλοκαίρι μόνο με φυσικό εξαερισμό (χωρίς κλιματισμό). Τιμές...
