No matter what I will write about this place it's impossible to describe with words the colours, the smells and the feelings of this place! Food is absolutely delicious with amazing local home made dishes! This is a family operated business and the hole atmosphere is just unbeatable! Service is excellent and there is every day special dishes carefully prepared with local high quality ingredients. Local goat slowly cooked in the traditional wooden oven is absolutely delicious! There is a small hole at the wall in the courtyard that you can feel the heat that raises from the volcano! Triantafilos is always helpful to guide you through the menu. Every single dish is an explosion of taste and senses! This food is impossible to find even in the most expensive restaurants. Die beiden sympathischen Brüder Triantafyllos und Giannis und ihre Schwester Urania führen die Taverne Apyria mit viel Leidenschaft. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Bedienung Stavroula, die seit Jahren immer wieder mit einem Lächeln jede Situation meistert. Wir waren schon mehrmals hier und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Die traditionellen griechischen Speisen sind einfach köstlich! Besonders empfehlen können wir die Skordalia mit Mandeln, Lamm-Bifteki (Seftalies), Kichererbsen bzw. Tomaten-Bällchen, Fava und vieles mehr. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist echt super! Abends ist es richtig gemütlich und es kommen viele Einheimische. Επισκέφθηκα το κατάστημα προ ημερών. Όταν έφτασα είχε 3 διαθέσιμα τραπέζια, χωρίς κάποιο μπουκάλι/κουβερ/πιάτο η οποιαδήποτε επισήμανση κράτησης. Διάλεξα ένα και μου φωνάξανε οι του προσωπικού, πλησίασαν και μου εξήγσαν ότι αυτό το τραπέζι καθώς και τα άλλα δύο άδεια είναι κρατημένα και θα μου βγάλουν αυτοί ένα άλλο αν θέλω σε συγκεκριμένο σημείο του χώρου, μακρυά από το τραπέζι που επέλεξα αρχικά. Πράγμα απόλυτα δεκτό, έκατσα με την παρέα μου χαρωπός παρότι το τραπέζι που μου δόθηκε ήταν δίπλα σε μια πολύ μεγάλη παρέα με αρκετά μικρής ηλικίας παιδιά τα οποία καλώς ή κακώς κάνανε φασαρία και εγώ γιαυτό είχα επιλέξει το πιο απομακρυσμένο τραπέζι. Δεν κάθομαι για 5 λεπτά και λόγω της θέσης του τραπεζιού ακούω ξεκάθαρα την κουβέντα μεταξύ υπαλλήλου και 2 τουριστριών, από τη στιγμή που φτάσανε. Δεν αναφέρθηκε ποτέ κάποια κράτηση ή έγινε κάποιος χαιρετισμός που να υποδικνύει ότι ήταν γνωστές του μαγαζιού. Ο υπάλληλος τους πρότεινε το τραπέζι το οποίο είχε αρνηθεί σε εμένα. Έχοντας πλέον ξενερώσει με τη φάση τους είχα τα αυτιά μου ανοιχτά. Σε κανένα 10λεπτο εμφανίζεται νέα παρέα τουριστών ακούω όλη τη συνομιλία, δεν αναφέρεται κράτηση και τους προτείνουν άλλο από τα "κρατημένα τραπέζια".
