We booked a specific panoramic table on the edge of the cliff to watch the sunset (agreed at reservation time) but we were given a table with partial view, behind a large bar so we couldn’t see the view we were here for. We ordered two drinks, one virgin, and they mixed the orders with an other table. My friend who does not drink alcohol was served a mojito with alcohol and I was served the wrong drink. We also ordered an appetizer and they took back the forks with the plates once we ate it so we didn’t have them when the main courses arrived. You will understand with the windy weather, when they arrived the meals weren’t so hot anymore. About the food, it was ok but nothing fantastic for the price (fried squids for 14€ while all over the island with similar view is around 9€ from what we saw). The menu is actually limited to snacks/lunch meals. The virgin drink was factured at the regular price while we already told the waiter at the time of the temporary bill. No worries of course, but it wasn’t replaced when asking for the final bill. It’s our impression but this same person was trying to hide the price by reading the bill (??) with his thumb on each price... Despite all this, no slight gesture was made. It was overall not a great experience : disappointing considered the magical place the view and the...
Read moresuch a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, there's calming music too!
the issue I had was how crowded the balcony was, everybody shoved on and unless you went up and hour before sunset you weren't getting a good view at all 🤣, the visitors were quite ignorant in that sense but there's plenty of other places to go and get pictures like the part with benches underneath the carpark, it's on a side of the cliff but it isn't scary at all!! there's loads of room so you won't fall off lol. the food I didn't like, I do have arfid so that may contribute to why but even my mum didn't like the chocolate pie but the waiter seemed shocked when I left almost the whole thing!! 😂 the staff were very friendly or atleast the ones I interacted with, one funny thing was a girl seemed to follow a waiter (like she had to ask a question) and he turned around and went 🤚 don't harrass. whenever it gets busier they usually won't come to your table and you have to sort of raise your voice to get their attention due to all the music and speaking & they're busy almost always from what I've heard and saw so they can be quite slow at serving. we ordered drinks awhile before the sun started to set and the sun was almost finished setting by the time we got our drinks, so I had to chug it then run to the benches to get...
Read moreI’ve given this place 4 due to the poor experience we had whilst at 7th Heaven’s Restaurant. I had been to this place about 3 years ago and thought the views were stunning, so when my boyf and I were in Corfu this year I wanted him to see the amazing sunset, which is stunning. We also decided to make this trip our last trip of the holiday. Rather than just drinks this time we made a trip for the food! Initially there was no space in the restaurant, which was fine, we understood it was a popular destination. As we were taking our seats for a couple drinks at the bar, a friendly waiter found us and said that there was a table free, much to our delight we accepted the offer and ordered food. However the reception received from the restaurant waiter was very cold, as if we weren’t “good enough”, everything for us was very slap dash and no attentiveness at all, when we asked for the bill he couldn’t have chucked it at us any quicker (which was pricey for very little)!! I’d say if you wanted to make the trip, DO go for a lovely sunset drink but I wouldn’t waste your time with the restaurant! There is a lovely taverna on your way back to Sidari if you’re heading that way, can’t remember the name but it’s covered by grape vine along...
