Hellas Traditional Tarverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We had a lovely rainy afternoon here (30s-something couple). The decor and wall art is fantastic. They have so many cute little gizmos and Marilyn Monroes dotted about. The food was great. We made our own version of a mixed grill with shrimp, kebab, and souvlaki and it was tasty homecooked food. The tatziki was amazing. Very reasonable prices and a massive selection. Not the best food you can find honestly but it is passable, and semi-reasonable prices too. The position of this taverna is great though, literally right next to the sea, and the owner is very friendly too. They must do something about the wasps though, it has become a big problem as the last two times we ate there we were literally getting attacked by more than 10 to 15 aggressive wasps , to the point where we had to quickly eat our food to get the plates off the table!! Keep that in mind if you visit, you will need some kind of wasp...

We loved it here; the young gentleman helping us with orders was knowledgeable and polite, and he was great to talk with. Great view, with a sea view just on the side of the taverna. Opposite the sea, we could enjoy the mountain views in Albania. We loved the atmosphere; everything felt like proper Greece, and the lovely music. The food was good; the lamb chops were so delicious. The beach is just next door, where we relaxed after our meal.
