Zwiedzanie po wizycie w jaskini Zeusa

Po odwiedzeniu jaskini Zeusa postanowiliśmy kontynuować naszą wyprawę i zatrzymaliśmy się w Café-Restaurant Krystallenia, aby coś zjeść. Miłym zaskoczeniem okazała się możliwość płatności kartą, co we wcześniejszych restauracjach w okolicy stanowiło problem. Zamówiliśmy musakę, tzatziki i dwie cole. Na początku Pani gospodarz przyniosła nam chleb z pomidorami i oliwą, co okazało się bardzo smaczną przystawką. Następnie podano nam zamówione dania. Na koniec otrzymaliśmy talerz świeżych owoców, w tym arbuza i melona. Za całość zapłaciliśmy około 20 euro.

Ocena dań

Musaka: Niestety, nie spełniła naszych oczekiwań. Smak był dość dziwny, a danie wydało się nam zbyt mało przyprawione. Choć dało się je zjeść, nie zamówilibyśmy jej ponownie.

Tzatziki: Dobre, ale nie wyróżniały się na tle innych, które mieliśmy okazję spróbować.

Rachunek

Na rachunku znalazły się trzy dania, choć zamówiliśmy tylko dwa. Jeśli chleb z pomidorami lub owoce na talerzu zostały doliczone jako trzecie danie, obsługa powinna była poinformować nas o dodatkowej opłacie. Te przekąski otrzymaliśmy bez wcześniejszego zamówienia.

Toaleta

Toaleta była czysta, ale widać, że jej czasy świetności już minęły.

Obsługa

Obsługa była bardzo miła. Mieliśmy również okazję poznać wnuczkę właścicielki, Katarzynę, która była niezwykle uśmiechnięta i zabawna. Serdecznie ją pozdrawiamy.

Sightseeing After Visiting the Cave of Zeus

After visiting the Cave of Zeus, we decided to continue exploring and stopped at Café-Restaurant Krystallenia for a meal. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we could pay by card, as this had been an issue in other restaurants in the area. We ordered moussaka, tzatziki, and two colas. The hostess initially brought us bread with tomatoes and olive oil, which was very tasty, followed by the dishes we had ordered. At the end of the meal, we were served a plate of fresh fruit, including watermelon and melon. The total cost was around 20 euros.

Dish Reviews

Moussaka: Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The taste was quite odd, and it seemed under-seasoned. While it was edible, we wouldn't order it again.

Tzatziki: It was good, but not the best we’ve had.

The Bill

The bill included three dishes, even though we only ordered two. If the bread with tomatoes or the fruit plate was counted as a third dish, the staff should have informed us about the extra charge. These items were given to us without being requested.

Restroom

The restroom was clean but clearly past its prime.

Service

The service was very friendly. We also met the hostess’s granddaughter, Katarina, who was very cheerful and entertaining. Warm...

Over-friendly owner jumping and shouting at passing tourists in the hope of getting an extra customer. Once stopped she is a nice lady but very persistent. The service was quick and the food is cheap. But... the food was just bad. The pizza seemed like it came straight out of the freezer and the pasta sauce from a can. I hope the owner changes a couple things around there because all and all they are very...

The "stable" steak was raw in the middle. The "oven baked" roast was served cold. Offering to "heat it in the microwave" just added insult to injury. Water bottle served with beer glasses because "heh, we don't have any water ones".

Operating a restaurant / tavern takes more than having an open hall as serving area and a couple of people working as cooks/servers.
