As soon as we parked, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who offered his expertise on the best route to take to explore the nearby cave. He even invited us to enjoy some fresh juice before we headed on our adventure.

As a business owner myself, I couldn't help but admire his clever marketing strategy. Haha! It's clear that this restaurant not only cares about their profits but also providing the best possible experience for their guests.

After our cave adventure, we returned to the restaurant to order a glass of their pomegranate juice. Yes, it may be a bit pricey at 3-4 euros per glass, but the health benefits of this remarkable juice are well worth it. Research has shown that consuming pomegranate juice on a regular basis may improve cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of various diseases.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for their excellent service, quality beverages, and commitment to providing guests with the best possible experience. The kindest people found and a wonderful view. When you arrive in this place at the foot of the cave of zeus you can find the kindest people you can find in Crete. They welcomed us very warmly and treated us like family. If you go to visit the cave of zeus, stop here before and take a sit in the terrace for a wonderfull view of the hinterland of Crete. Also they let us taste very good cake they make. Thank you very much, we really appreciated how you treated us and for making us enjoy the time spent there....

Forget hotel food! If you're looking for traditional greek/cretan cuisine - then visit this local taverna. A full dive into the atmosphere and culture!

The food is freshly made and absolutely delicious. We have ordered myzithra and in less than 5 mins it was all gone!

The staff are very friendly and really want to provide best service. She was very engaging and told us many interesting stories!

I'd definitely visit this place again!
