Lucca — Restaurant in Municipality of Papagos - Cholargos

An ALL DAY BAR, but definitely NOT FOR DINNER. Decided with friends to spend the Bday evening at this bar, after receiving some good feedback. We would be having dinner, and enjoy the party afterwards.

SERVICE: The Service forgot to come and take our order (had to wait for 30 minutes till first interaction). Service was also annoyingly late. We would ask for a refill on out bottle of water, only to receive it 15 minutes later. Once we placed our order, the waiter made a mistake on one of the starters.

DINNER: The Carbonara we ordered, was simply NOT A CARBONARA. Although it was advertised (on the menu) as the real Italian experience with egg-yok and guanciale, the food we got in our plates, was something totally different. Apparently an entire package of bacon was used in the pasta, with a sunny side up egg on top. When the waiter asked if everything was OK with the order, I simply complained that that was not a Carbonara (or at least what they had on the menu). The response was a shockingly funny. The Waiter (same as before) responded that apparently I have no idea about real Carbonara, and went on details to show me that since there an egg inside, it is the real Italian experience. Apparently it was pointless to continue arguing.

No-one ate anything obviously, and focused on the party afterwards which was pretty rewarding.

Conclusion: This place is not for Dinner. Food quality is that of Fast Food. The music and the party is really fun and...

So I have to have a reservation to have a coffee!!! Hmm... that is neighboring to ludicrous! No, not really no. Unless... there were a couple of empty tables without reserved sign on them that our host bypassed them to lead us in the back to a half-lit (natural light though) secluded area stuffed with people (covid-19 is still here!!!) where I could enjoy the smoke of a fellow smoking customer. However... I could choose between a couch with a couple of tree barks in front (Instead of table I suppose, where I could enjoy eating my order bent over them) and a table within breathing distance from another 2-3 tables behind a little tree. No thanks. Excellent service... not. Couldn't help but feeling a little as a second rate customer. Nevertheless, from previous visits, the coffee has been good and the apple crumble pie was excellent. So were most of the dishes...

Τη συγκεκριμένη φορά, επισκέφτηκα το μαγαζί στα πλαίσια κράτησης και δυστυχώς είδα μια άλλη, δυσάρεστη όψη του, η οποία οφείλεται στη διαχείριση από τους υπεύθυνους.

Κράτηση για γενέθλια φίλης, η οποία για να είναι εγκυρη έπρεπε να πάμε από τις 9:30. Μάλιστα, καλά ακούσατε! Σε όσους κοροϊδεύαμε τα μπουζούκια που μας ανάγκαζαν να πηγαίνουμε από τις 11 ενώ οι καλλιτέχνες έβγαιναν στη 1, μας απέδειξε το Lucca ότι γίνεται και χειρότερα! Πάμε παρακάτω: τα νερά και τα ξηροκάρπια έφταναν με το σταγονόμετρο, ενώ έπρεπε να παρακαλάμε για αυτά. Εδώ να σημειώσω ότι ο λογαριασμός του τραπεζιού διόλου ευκαταφρόνητος ήταν, καθώς παραγγείλαμε 4 φιάλες από το καλύτερο/ακριβότερο λευκό κρασί του καταλόγου συν κάποια ποτά. Όταν σε άλλα μαγαζιά προσγειώνονται στα τραπέζια φρουτιέρες και πλατώ αλλαντικών - τυριών με μόλις ένα μπουκάλι κρασί, εδώ παρακαλάγαμε να μας φέρουν ένα μπουκάλι νερό να ξεδιψάσουμε! Τέλος, το σέρβις! Τρεις σερβιτόροι να τρέχουν σαν άλλοι Βέγγοι, καταβάλλοντας υπεράνθρωπες προσπάθειες να εξυπηρετήσουν τον κόσμο σε ένα αποπνικτικά γεμάτο μαγαζί. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να έρθει η τούρτα της εορτάζουσας και να τη φάμε μόνο με κουτάλια χωρίς πιάτα (!) σαν απολίτιστοι, γιατί προφανώς μαγαζί που φημίζεται για το brunch του δεν έχει πιάτα, τα οποία κουτάλια ήρθαν μισή ώρα μετά και αφού τα ζητήσαμε τουλάχιστον τρεις φορές.

Όλα αυτά φυσικά δεν είναι ευθύνη του προσωπικού. Είναι αποτέλεσμα της πλήρους κακομοιριάς της ιδιοκτησίας που δεν καταλαβαίνει ότι για να πάρεις λεφτά πρέπει να δώσεις λεφτά, ξεκινώντας πρώτα απ' όλα απ' την πρόσληψη προσωπικού. Τη στιγμή μάλιστα που άλλα μαγαζιά και σε περιοχές όπως το Κολωνάκι έχουν πολύ καλύτερη αντιμετώπιση προς τον πελάτη, δεν φτάνει η καλή ατμόσφαιρα, ο ωραίος κόσμος και το κέφι, που υπάρχουν σε άφθονο βαθμό ομολογουμένως, για να σε...
