Food was good but this place is definitely a tourist trap. The large beers were €12 each …. Like what??? This is my second time to Paxos and we are here for a month. I will not spend another euro at this restaurant it has left me feeling grumpy and disappointed that we were charged so much. There are much better restaurants than this one just because it’s in the centre and busy means nothing. The lady who served us gave me a bad vibe and I was right from the start with that feeling. I asked for the bill only to see her sitting smoking a cigarette and I ended up going up to pay after 20 mins waiting. I will be dining and drinking everywhere but here. I’m happy to spend large amounts of money but I expect good service and honest prices. Unfortunately since being to this restaurant I have realised I was intentionally over charged for the drinks . I could sense some dishonesty when paying my bill and did question the price of the drinks but was told by the cigarette smoking lady that it was correct. Has left such a bad...
Read moreI think this was one of my favourite places on the island. I stayed 9 days and out of the 9 days I ate here 3 times. :D So I think that describes how great this restaurant is.
The atmosphere was also very welcoming and friendly. It is a family business, I couldn't figure out who is who in the family, but I could tell they are truly kind and loving people based on how they treated the guests. The food is just amazing! I'm not used to eating fish in general and I don't know the types of fish really well, but the waitress was really kind and helped me choose, and it was truly delicious! My neighbour from the other table asked me if it was steak :D, he liked it too. They even let me borrow a glass to take it with me to the concert near (at old school loggos), but i took it back after the concert.
So I absolutely recommend this place!
I hope I can visit again in the near...
Read moreA wonderful experience from start to finish. We might well have over ordered to be fair, but the portions were really generous. Stand outs were the squid orzo and the lamp chops. The bread we were served at the start came with a tasty little selections of balsamic glaze and olive oil, olive tapenade and a garlic mayo. Service was fast and genuine as well. There is a reason this place was heaving all evening. We also arrived late for the reservation and the team was lovely in assuring us it wasn’t a problem for them. They also had no problem boxing up some of meal for us to take away and all done with a smile that felt genuine. Highly...
