Beer Way — Restaurant in Municipality of Penteli

We last visited Beerway on Tuesday, knowing that it's always busy at the weekend. I chose a Hofbrau lager, remembering pleasant outdoor snacks with beer in Munich, and my two companions took the same. At €7.00 per half litre, the price is reasonable rather than cheap. Next time I'll choose a pils to get something tastier. As we were hungry we ordered a small grilled meat platter, which was plenty for the three of us. It consisted of 2 pieces of chicken fillets (juicy and cooked just right), 2 biftekia (with a little garlic in, which we could have done without), 2 pork chops (very tender and tasty) and 2 pieces of another cut of pork (not as good as the chops, as they were on the tough side). The meat was accompanied by a couple of pita bread, chips and some salad. The last was a bit like coleslaw with oil instead of mayonnaise for dressing, but was dominated by a strong taste of garlic, so after trying it we left the rest. I noticed on the way out that most of the other diners had pushed theirs aside too. However, the price of the food was very reasonable, €21.00, and on the whole it was good quality. The main attraction is the great selection of draught beers. Really excellent! The atmosphere is pleasant and the music difficult to complain about. Well...

The place is OK, the staff is nice, the food is kind of tasty and there is a big variety of different beers.

I think though that it is expensive for what it offers, there is no area for the non-smokers (huge minus), in the end they didn't bring us the receipt and we were also charged 3 extra euros for God knows what reason (but no receipt at the same time). Also I am pretty convinced that the 3L beer tower actually contains around 2.5L, if not any less, but this is just...

Nice outdoors and indoors seating area, kind service. The selection of beers is ok, I appreciated the presence of some very good imported ones but also a few favourites from Greece. The prices are a bit on the high side, but this is usual for this kind of place. The noise from the road is very disturbing, though. Had to shout in order to be heard from the people that sat right in front of me. In total, an interesting beer restaurant, would recommend a visit if you are...
