This is such a lovely location, with an incredible view. The food is also good, tasty and you can tell by the taste it's more fresh. I really do believe the ingredients are from their own garden. But it's such a shame they don't have a wider variety of food on the menu and my biggest disappointment was that there wasn't anything from the sea. No mussels, no shrimps, no fish.

They do have a few dishes with pork and lamb meat, but this is not the place to get stuffed with a lot of food.

We didn't have a reservation and when we arrived there was almost nobody there, just the cleaning lady and the gardener but neither of them spoke English. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone else to arrive. We found this a bit strange.

I'll post pictures with the menu and I will go into more details of what we served: for the starters, we tried the baked feta and the fresh goat's cheese; both we very delicious, and the fresh cheese was not salty at all; the baked feta was the best we ever had! we tried the Armos salad, which was good but it lacked something; I think some cherry tomatoes would have helped, and also a little dressing; from the main dishes, we tried the vegetables in red sauce; the dish was good, very tasty... but there was no sauce, the eggplants were wrapped with small feta cheese pieces inside, and then the cooked cherry tomatoes on top; the vegetables themselves were not dry but it didn't have the slightest amount of sauce to it... and all the bread they brought us would have gone so well with some sauce; the bread was also very good, there was a freshness to it that we enjoyed;

At the end, the waiter was kind to give us 4 fresh figues, which were incredibly delicious, as well as a few shots of raki with honey... which was so much better than the traditional simple raki. Many thanks!

Our personal opinion is that this would be a much more successful tavern if they had someone with more experience to prepare the food, as well as a menu with a wider variety of dishes. Right now, they do not have a lot to offer and the dishes they prepare are...

This was more than a delicious meal; it was an experience we will never forget. To reach the restaurant you must walk an uphill pathway to the farm which though a bit strenuous, was a nice walk. Especially when we realized there were goats along the way. Once you reach the top, the view will absolutely blow you away. We were lucky enough to have a brief rainstorm followed by a rainbow. The food is all homecooked and produced right there on the farm. They even make their own wine. Normally I feel awful and have joint pain the day after drinking wine. We drank quite a bit during our visit, and I felt great the next day, no joint pain at all. I'm vegan and had no problem finding food to eat on the menu. Lots of vegetables. I ordered the rusk without the feta, fava, grape leaves (stuffed), fried potatoes, and olives. We had asked about a couple off the menu items that the husband was eating sardines (not produced on the farm) for my pescatarian fiancé and cooked amaranth greens for me. All were absolutely delicious. We were brought a basket of delicious bread that tasted homemade. The wine is sold in 1/4, 1/2, and full liters. We ordered the red which was very good. Once we finished eating, we were brought a huge plate of the most delicious grapes I've ever tasted and a small pot of homemade raki and honey which had a delicious cinnamon flavor. We spent four hours eating and drinking, this was one of our most memorable experiences during our two and a half weeks spent touring Greece. We would have returned a second time, but we didn't have a car and even though it was only a 12-minute care ride to the restaurant, it was difficult to get a taxi from the restaurant. We were lucky to meet a couple that offered us a ride back to our hotel. This is a must do if you are...

Few days ago we have one of those experiences that changes your whole perception about humans beings! By now it’s an overstatement that Greek people are the nicest more welcoming people in the entire world (I already new by my friend @pilatesandrehab_greenwich) but this is just mind blown! We went to this great place call Taverna-Biofarm “ARMOS” in the village of Marulas. When we arrive, late at night the owners VIOLETA & NIKOS where about to dinner after a hard day of work, so closing up. Because of their grateful nature they could not let us leave without eating, she say a quote: are you hungry -yes, but you are closing and we can come later this week. -if you are hungry we can’t leave you like this, is not normal 😳😳🥺❤️🇬🇷

So they offer us what they had cooked for themselves, artichokes with lemon, Greek fried cheese and red wine (their won production) We not only accepted with a mix between humble and emotion but we understood how simple and healthy a good dinner should be.

They set on the table with us, of course they did because they are REAL PEOPLE and if you didn’t saw that coming you ought to open your mind a bit more, just say hi from time to time... and we have the most delicious night we could ever hope for, just nice, warm and ernest conversation about life and cultures!

If you come to this corner of the world, give yourself one of this moments that I can guarantee you will remember before you die!

Needless to say, all natural, good healthy and homemade!

We will be...

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Violet is one of the kindest people I ever met and she made our stay feel Like coming Home. We were welcomed by a serene mountain village (where you should park) and followed the wooden signs up to the farm passing by some farm animals and beautifully done plants and decour. Violet welcomed us warmly and let us choose the place of our table. We chose fried Zucchini and home made goat cheese for starters. For the main dish we had lamb chops and the mixed grilled plate. Everything we had was simply incredible. Some of the best Food we ever had!!! (We also got some homegrown figs and grapes *-*) And combining the food with the mesmerizing scenery and attention to detail and Not to forget the friendliest and kindest service ever truly made this feel Like a piece of heaven. Long story short: You CANNOT miss this experience when coming to Crete. You‘ll love it!
