Absolutely lovely restaurant. The beat we've been on our trip. Most are too touristy. Here you'll get tasty food, that has some herbs (for example) in it! Like it should have. And some of it is cooked long and with love. It's also served with a side of love for the work. Saw the lady of the restaurant making dolmades there by hand! Regretted we did not order those. Don't make the same mistake! Also liked the wall painting with the grandmother cooking. EDIT: error rectified; dolmades tasted! The best I've ever had by far! Strong remmondation! in the pic the plate, where most are already eaten.

I went to eat at Ilias tavern after many years, since I was eating there when I was a little kid. Now 35, I can tell that Ilias tavern has made great improvements at the premises and the food stays very good and tasty. I went there with a partner for lunch and we loved every single thing. The best restaurant in Empona Village for me... I used to ago there since my childhood and so many memories... I went back this year after 7 or 8 years and the quality was the same... nothing changed... huge portions, delicious appetizers and the main food as well... grilled goat ribs were amazing and you should definitely need to try their sausages... the owner is so kind and sweet guy... everything...
