Amazing staff, considerate and very kind. We were a group of ten, which they happily connected tables for.
we ordered one kilo pork and one kilo lamb with mosaka, two Greek salads some pasta bolognese, siziki, and 2 soflaki chicken and 2 soflaki pork as well as some cheese balls and local wine.
The wine was authentic and clean. The meat was tender and well cooked (they even showed us how exactly the meat is butchered and the meat refrigerator which added to the uniqueness of the place as well as the authenticity of the place which was a very cool experience for us)
The mosaka melted at our toungs and enhanced The sweetness of the meat. The salad fresh and filling. The cheese balls were crispy the cheese was melted and it was flavored properly. The siziki was fresh and the soflaki was juicy and teneder.
What made it even more unforgettable and enhanced our experience was the amazing staff. They add on the house chips that were crispy and well cooked as well as dessert that consisted of fruits and chocolate balls which wrapped the meal just right and even without us asking offered seconds (with no added cost at all)
We had an amazing time, we were all...
Read moreDelicious, well-cooked food, with fresh local seasonal products and traditional cuisine. Each dish is prepared with care and passion. The prices are reasonable (around €20-25 per person with wine). Among the varieties stand out the delicious grilled goat or lamb ribs, the smell of which whets the appetite even more, the fluffy meatballs, the feta cheese with honey, the juicy but well-cooked chicken skewers and the stuffed vine leaves, the cabbage rolls and the traditional "pitaroudia" for vegetarians.

A place that honors Greek cuisine, respects the customer and is one of the few restaurants that maintains consistent quality, every time we visit it in Rhodes, for the...
Read moreWe discovered Maroulakis by chance while walking around Empona village looking for a place to eat, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
We ordered lamb chops, pitaroudia, Greek salad, and tzatziki. Everything was freshly made and incredibly delicious. The portions were generous—so much so that we couldn’t finish everything and ended up taking the leftovers with us back to the hotel.
What really made the experience stand out was the warm and welcoming service. The staff were not only friendly but also very helpful in guiding us through the menu and making sure we were happy with our choices.
To top it all off, we were offered a complimentary dessert when asking for the bill—a lovely gesture that we didn’t come across in any other restaurant during our stay in Rhodes, even though it’s said to be a common tradition in Greece.
We’re truly grateful for the hospitality and delicious food. Highly recommended if you’re...
