Mimossa Seafront Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

This is probably the worst place to eat in Kremasti. I would never want anyone to have to put up with this restaurant. I don’t even know where to start with this review. The restaurant was practically empty and yet it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. When the food did arrive only one meal of three came. It was then 5 minutes till the next then 10 minutes after that for the final meal. The first meal was what was once a beautiful calamari which was served to us as bland rubber. Them came Gemista which is now a inside joke called „ nasty gemasty“. Finally the meal I was most looking forward to was my sea bass, served with boiled veg, which must have been boiled about 4 weeks ago it was hard and ice cold. The sea bass itself was fine, on the small side but fine. Now on to the service which was dysfunctional at its best. They hadn’t cleared tables that left well over half an hour ago and although I don’t mind cats it had turned in to a brawl for the remaining food the previous table occupants had left. After our drinks had been served we noticed a cat that had killed a bird. Nature happens I know and we shouldn’t intervene in the cats lives however it was the way the wait staff acted about it. Perfect location - BUT that’s where it ends! When ordering asked: If the Sea bream came filleted ie no head etc If possible to have a smaller portion of mussels as a starter What sauce were the mussels cooked in Answers Yes - no head Yes - no problem White wine and garlic

Order arrives Burnt garlic bread 15 mins later - pitta, x2 lamb chops. X1 shrimp saganaki, x1 sea bream and x1 seafood pasta plus a portion of mussels (full portion not starter) Sea bream had head and tail not filleted! No small portion of mussels as starter Sauce mmm 🤔 no white wine just lemon juice Lamb chops were burnt and served only with chips so extremely dry. No salad or sauce or rice

Ordered tzatziki which never arrived but they gave us a portion take home. WTF we were supposed to do with that we don’t know - straight in the bin

No napkins offered. No bowl for mussel shells or prawn shells. No salt or vinegar or oil

Meal cost €123. - an absolute waste of money. Overpriced! Overcooked! Service shocking!

Lastly NOT TO MENTION THE CATS !!! Now whilst we expect this in Greece and are cat lovers we didn’t expect X8 around the table. Huge cats (possibly on steroids compared to the usual scrawny little cuties you see) jumping on your knee and the table.

Obviously we will not return and are just praying as we write this that we’re not all up in the night on...

We stumbled across this little restaurant when we A walk along the seafront in Kremasti. What a wonderful little find! We went in and asked for a table and Were told to be here for seven so that we could see the sunset. We arrived and we greeted like long lost friends. What an amazing evening. The sunset was fabulous as you can see by the photos! The food was excellent, but this is not a fast food place and everything is cooked as ordered. You will not be disappointed if you need to wait. Just chill enjoy your drink and the sunset. We ordered a simple plate of mussels for two And pita bread. OMG! So delicious. Make sure you don’t miss out on this little...
