The coziest little tavern walking back or to the waterfalls of Gria Vathra!

With a rich history as a location going back decades, this tavern has a touch of the magic of the waterfalls with the waters in the backround running by. Especially for me, in the afternoon hours of the day it’s the most soothing and calming place for a break for late lunch and dinner.

We came around closing time so there were a few options left, still was impressed by the great service because they were so kind as to make me a plate of fries since I have been dreaming about them all day long. Beside the fries, we ordered some falafel and greek salad which were great, perfect after a day of hiking! The atmosphere is very chill, complemented only by the great live music of a local. Απαράδεκτο! Το ανυπόφορο είναι κάτι το ελάχιστο. Καλο θα ήταν τα τουριστικά μαγαζιά εστίασης, καλοκαιρινού τύπου, να σοβαρεύουν, να γνωρίζουν ποιες είναι οι δυνατότητες τους και τι δε θα καταφέρουν ποτέ να κάνουν γιατί απλούστατα ειναι ανεπαρκείς. Το ομορφότερο στοιχείο στη ταβέρνα ήταν οι εξαιρετικοι μουσικοί, εξωστρεφεις και ιδιαίτεροι. Η ταβέρνα αυτή από τις 9 η ώρα που άρχισε το πρόγραμμα της μουσικής, δεν είχε σούβλες. Έλεος. Μέτα από λίγο δεν είχαν καρβουνα: " ψησταριά χωρίς κάρβουνα".. Φάγαμε ψητά μετά από 145 λεπτά. Οι τουαλέτες ήταν πραγματικά ότι βρωμεροτερο έχω συναντησει. Το φαγητό ήταν μετριότατο, εκτός από την μελιτζανοσαλατα. Παρόλα αυτά οι σερβιτόροι ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικοί. Συνοψίζοντας, το μαγαζί θα πρέπει να σκεφτεί πολύ σοβαρά ποια θα είναι η συνέχεια του από δω και πέρα, να ξέρει καλά το μαγαζί και οι υπεύθυνοι του ότι οι πελάτες δεν ειναι ζώα, ούτε αδαεις. Να σέβονται αν θέλουν να τους σέβονται, να προσλάβουν ανθρώπους που ξέρουν καλά τη δουλειά και όχι άσχετους. Αλλιώς η μοίρα...
