We were in Anavisos for a couple of days and found this place, as the other bars in the area were too expensive. Now, the prices were not cheap and we were there for 2 days. We went there from the morning and made a whole day thing. Got the big "kiosk" beds close the sea. They are supposed to block the sun, but they are not doing a good job in that. They are comfortable. They cost 25 euros and you get a 100euro minimum charge if you sit there. As we were 4 people we were confident we would reach that. We made a bill of over 400euros on the first day and 300 the second day. They could had brought us something for free, a shot or a bottle of water. Nothing. Everything at full price. The service was excellent throughout both days (we asked to be seved by the same waitress that served us the first day).
The drinks (bottle) selection is very limited. They serve a few coctails which are ok, but if you ask anything else off the menu (i asked for an Old Fashioned) they cant make it. Food , again , very limited.
Music, friday it was OKish (electronic). But what we heard on Saturday night was a bit of a mess. Random songs on playlist in the morning- afternoon and a DJ (or3) that play a mix of electronic, r'n'b, and greek music at night. Sound quality was not bad, but not great either.
It was an OK place, we had two days to relax and we did. We wanted fun and we had it. But not going there again. The fun we had was because of our group, not the place.
The beachfront in the area is very good and there is space where you can set your own umbrella, amongst all the beach bars. (The music from all beach bars combined can be very annoying)
If you travel in that area , I would recomend buying an umbrella and a couple of towels from the Supermarket which is right over the beachfront , and chill on the beach with...
Read moreWe went to Hawai Beach Bar and, before renting the sunbeds, we asked the staff if they had a restaurant. They told us no, it was just a beach bar. We paid for the sunbeds, got some drinks from the bar, and spent several hours there. We had children with us, and later on, we ordered some food from outside to eat.
Then the owner came over and, with extremely racist behavior, kicked us out and treated us like we were garbage. We asked for an explanation as to why we were being removed in such a disrespectful way. He started yelling, “NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED.” We told him that if food isn’t allowed, there should be a clearly visible sign stating this. Otherwise, how are we supposed to know?
He replied aggressively, saying that it was written somewhere. We said we didn’t see it and that we’re tourists and don’t understand the local language. He shouted back, “I’m Greek, I write signs however I want, in Greek only!” That is open racism in 2025.
Everyone on the beach turned to look at us — we felt deeply humiliated. So if you are a tourist, avoid this place — they are racist and completely...
Read moreI absolutely love this pet-friendly beach bar that during summer became my weekday oasis and Sunday party spot! The staff is not only skilled but also friendly, making every visit a pleasure. It’s the perfect place for families during the week, offering a relaxing atmosphere for both kids and adults. Weekends get a bit crowded, so finding sunbeds can be a challenge, but that’s the norm. The food is fantastic, with generous portions that satisfy any appetite. As for their coffee and cocktails, are simply incredible. Five stars...
