Castus Beach — Restaurant in Municipality of Saronikos

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending a child's birthday party at Castus Beach, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, everything was meticulously planned and executed, making it a day to remember.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. From assisting with the setup to ensuring all the kids had a blast, their enthusiasm and attention to detail were commendable. They went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcomed and had a great time.

The beach itself was pristine, providing a perfect backdrop for a fun-filled day. The facilities were well-maintained, and we felt completely at ease throughout the event. The children enjoyed the various activities available, and the parents appreciated the serene environment and the safety measures in place.

Furthermore, the catering service provided by Castus Beach was exceptional. The food was delicious, with a variety of options that catered to both children and adults alike. The staff ensured that dietary preferences and allergies were taken into consideration, which was greatly appreciated by all.

Overall, our experience at Castus Beach surpassed our expectations, thanks in large part to the outstanding staff. Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication made the birthday party truly special. We would highly recommend Castus Beach to anyone looking to host an event or simply enjoy a relaxing day by the sea.

Visited as a "planned" stopover as part of a tour.

Atmosphere was excellent. We live in Dubai for over 40 years so know a lot about ambience and service in 3,4,5 stars restaurants.

Service was unfortunately not acceptable. They gave us one menu and since we had limited time at the restaurant (due to our tour) I requested another menu (so that I can order faster) and was just told bluntly to scan barcode. Luckily I had roaming Internet as a tourist. Just behind me I could see a stack of at least 15 menus unused. Why was it so difficult for the waiter to just give me another menu?

Food came on time and pizza served. But no plates served. We have been five days in Athens and first time this has happened.

Finally I requested the bill and still ten minutes later nothing. We had to leave so I walked up to the cashier and asked for the bill. Our waiter just pulled out his machine and told me it was Euro 30. Luckily I always calculate the amount for what I ordered.

I found it disrespectful for the waiter to not produce a bill. He even had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. A tip for what - for their laziness and disrespect? I am sure in Athens you have to produce a receipt or bill.

We visited this place twice—first for coffee, then for dinner a few days later—both times impressed by the beautiful atmosphere and friendly service. The waiter who served us during dinner was extremely polite and helpful. The shrimp salad and prosciutto pinsa were delicious, and although the prices were slightly high, the experience was worth it. Later that evening, we returned for a glass of wine by the bar, enjoying the music and view. Unfortunately, the bartender was rude and unprofessional. When we asked to pay and order another round, she abruptly told us it wasn’t her job and to speak with the waiter. When we explained the waiter had directed us to her, she finally accepted payment but returned our change in a very aggressive manner.

I don’t understand why people who clearly don’t want to work in customer service end up in roles where interacting with guests is a key part of the job. Because of this behavior alone, I’m giving the place 3 out of 5 stars. Her attitude stood out negatively and impacted our otherwise great evening. I'm not sure if it was due to my partner's limited English, but it felt unnecessary and out of place in such a welcoming venue.

Overall, I’d still recommend the place,but hope management addresses this issue to maintain their...
