Camping Marmaras Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

Absolutely fantastic experience! My family and me came all the way from the other part of Neos, by foot, but it was worth it. Charming simple taverna surrounded by campers, relaxed atmosphere. And the food was just delicious. Grilled squid and fresh fish, chicken meat fried and served with paprika and mushrooms; I just can't decide what was my favorite. Charming personel did not charge bread automatically and the prices are slightly lower that in those fancy restaurants in the center by the sea. So, who needs a relaxing place where you eat well - this is the right choice....

We arrived with our boat to the small laguna and were out of water/drinks. I jumped into the water and walked straight up to the small tavern. It was still early and the owner was doing the preparations for the day. We have been able to get some beers and a great wine for a fair price. Even been able to borrow two Glases for the day. Later when we brought everything back, they shared with us some grilled fish to try for our family. Best fish we had so far here in chalkidiki!! Very friendly and great people! The best food me and my family had in our entire holiday, solid proof that going a bit out of your way is worth it (the tavern is somewhat hidden in a camping site).

It has a more intimate atmosphere, due to its smaller size and quiet location, and everybody working there was really friendly. The food was supremely delicious, tastier than that of much fancier locations, and the prices were quite low.

All in all, I wholeheartedly reccomend that you pay the tavern a visit,...
