The food was ok quality. The service was relatively prompt, but that's because we were only customers at that time. Unfortunately, the event that immediately and irrevocably canceled any positive impression about this place was when they amended additional 2 euro extra charge, just when my sister went to pay them. When asked for explanation, they said it was because we had more expensive beers which were 5 euro instead of listed 4 euro. We had 3 beers in total, which if extra charge wasn't a scam it would be 3 euros and not 2 they hastily decided to scam us of. When my sister said she will not pay anything extra they said it is fine and made it look they made us a favour, which added insult to injury.
I generally, would advice to avoid taverns following this kind of practices, and Origano is, unfortunately, one of them.
Attached are the receipts. In first one three last items are beers. The second photo shows extra charge they...
Read moreHow quickly thay have fallen. It was realy amazing experience from the start. Hospitality was great, food was quickly served and was very delicious. Everything was excellent, realy wonderful dinner. And then the bill came, and everything fall appart. There were more entries in it than the food/drinks we have ordered. They have put stuff that they brought without us ordering, we thought they were complimentary, they should have told us they are not. We have been deceived. When we complained why they have tricked us, they told us that it is normal in Greece. Oh, no it is not, this wasnt our first meal in Greece and this is the first time we were deceived like that. We have paid with disgust, wanted to leave heafty tip, but no tip for that behaviour. Wanted to come here again, but after the bill, no way. Do...
Read moreThe location is great, however, the food was tasteless. We wanted grilled squid and we were told they have only fried. We ordered fried and then when we complained, the waiter admit they have only frozen seafood, at the seaside. The grilled octopus was also frozen, very salty and not possible to chew at all. The Dzadziki they said is their own brand, it was literally cucumbers and yoghurt and nothing else. No where in the menu it was specified they serve frozen seafood and their own dzadziki. The waiter (old man) was really rude and argued with me that it is not possible to have fresh seafood at the seaside every day. Worst experience ever in Greece. Oh, the Mythos beer was on draft and...
