Overall, we had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. All of the tables on the beach were occupied--and there was even a queue--so we decided to take a seat inside, which was our biggest mistake. The music was so loud that everyone in the restaurant, including the staff, were forced to shout in order to communicate. This was anything but enjoyable. Our food ranged from bad to mediocre. The toasted bread we got served was as hard as a rock; luckily, they agreed to change it for us. The mussels saganaki were the worst I've ever tried (and I order this dish at every Greek taverna I visit). On the flip side, their grilled halloumi was okay. On a more positive note, the staff were well-versed in English. Nonetheless, my chair did get pushed a few times by them without any apology after. All in all, I would not recommend a visit to this restaurant. For the same price, you can get a far better atmosphere and tastier food at any other taverna on the same street.

I recently dined at To Simadi restaurant, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. Overall, the food was satisfactory, but the standout dish was undoubtedly the shrimps saganaki. The portion size was generous, and the preparation was impeccable, making it a highlight of the meal. One of the restaurant's strengths lies in its pleasant outdoor seating area, which offers a captivating sea view. This added to the overall ambiance and made for an enjoyable dining atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the Fava dish. It was served cold and lacked flavor, indicating that it was not well-prepared. This was a letdown considering the quality of the shrimps saganaki. Aside from these specific points, the rest of the menu was decent, without any particularly memorable or standout dishes. While To Simadi offers a lovely outdoor setting and some tasty options, there is room for improvement in terms of consistency and attention to detail in their menu offerings.

Nice tavern next to the beach. Good choice of different foods, including seafood. Some of the tables are at the beach so you can have there a picturesque lunch or romantic dinner next to the waves. The food is not very expensive (and certainly not cheap), but you will get plenty of it for the buck. The linguini with seafood actually is a platter for two, rich in seafood. The grilled octopus was a bit overbaked, but very tasty. They have few different kinds of lager beers, and some greek white and red wines. Juices for children vary from natural lemonade to Come , Fanta , Sprite... The staff is polite. Beware though that you may have to wait some time if the restaurant is full so better take your table when it's more relaxed. Overall it's a greek tavern worth to visit either for lunch or dinner 🍽️

Very busy place so advising you to book in advance. The tables on the sand towards the sunset make it great option for a dinner date! When it’s busy you might wait a while until being served - our dinner was around 9ish so we did not have any problems ordering main dishes around 10ish. I would not say they are understaffed though as management is doing great by having different folks taking care of welcoming the guests, picking drinks, taking orders for mains, etc. Staff knows words in multiple languages which is a bonus! You can also pay by card! We had lunch & dinner here. Out of all dishes we ordered my favourite one was the stuffed calamari! The fried zucchini came with a decent tzatziki portion. The grilled octopus was also tasty. The tomato pasta with mussels & calamari was the only dish I did not enjoy - it tastes like the pasta with the sauce is cooked separately from the seafood and the shrimps were overcooked. Portions are big enough to be shared by 2. They served us a fruit platter for deasert on the house which is a great idea compared to other restaurants which would rather give you nothing or something sweet :) Keep doing great and hope to see...

We arrived at 21:00. We had reservation. They put us on a table on the edge of the sea which was amazing! The problem was that we had to wait 45 minutes for someone to pick up our order for food (because for being so popular they had a lot of clients and therefore they were a bit chaotic). When they brought the drinks one of the glasses was dirty and we asked them to bring another one but the second one was even dirtier than the first glass (it even had rests of lemon from another drink). The food was big and delicios 5/5. They brought the bill and we noticed that some prices were higher than the one mentioned in the menu. Also, even though we ordered 2 Tsatsikis they put 3 on the bill but we didnt want to start another discussion so we payed it anyway.

Overall I would say that is a nice one time experience and the food is outstanding. Hoewever, due to the hype and popularity they have the tendacy to be overwhelmed and to make mistakes. I would recommend, either to hire more stuff, or to put fewer tables. Also they should be more careful with the glasses and when they take order. I understand they try to be fast, but this increase the risks...

The first time I was here, it was Ok. Although everything my mother ordered in the first phase, the owner would come back and tell us that they no longer have that kind of food. Very large portions, cooked mediocre. We were determined to come back for a second evening, just to get a seat at the tables on the beach, by the sea.I knew that without a reservation it is difficult to find a table on the beach, but despite all that, I said let's see if there are tables available. As expected, the best tables were reserved and we decided to leave to come back another time. While we were walking towards the car, the owner shouted angrily at us: "you can find a better table, but not better food". Well, this attitude negates any positive experience. Also, the owner is the only one who takes orders and is extremely present everywhere in the restaurant, and this can also be seen in the attitude of the other waiters, who are quite tense. It is honorable that he is fully involved in his own business, but all to the point where this affects the customer experience. I will never step foot in this restaurant again and I will never be able to...
