The location is perfect but the food and service is a catastrophe. Personnel that can hardly speak English, and I wouldn’t minds since we are in Greek but since this restaurant is in the five star hotel we’re staying at I would expect better knowledge in English. The food is very rustic and not at all sofisticated but the prices are as if it’s fine dining. I could have done the food better myself. We had mini octopus and zucchini sticks as a starter. In the octopus there were 2 mini octopus the rest 20 pieces were just normal octopuses. The zucchini sticks were cut in different sizes and looked a mess when they were served and they costed 18 euro! They had three meet dishes and we all decided for lamb but when we were about to order they told us they were out of lamb. We didn’t get a wine list and when I asked for the drink menu, I received the menu of alcohol drinks. This was Due to bad English from my part but still they could also have given me the wine list. When I realized that I said the wrong word I asked for the wine list and received it. The wine list is extensive so we decided for a French rose wine for 74 euro. But to our surprise they didn’t have any of the French roses in the wine list only greec roses and I had to go with them into where they kept the bottles and choose because they didn’t have a wine list for those wines. In the end we had iberic pig as main and that was delicious and a lot of meet. But the side dish was supposed to be mashed potatoes but it was a purée, so more like baby food and not eatable at all. The sauce was fine though. The kids chicken nuggets were prefab and our kids 11 and 13 mentioned it and said it was weird. So even though we will be here at the hotel for 6 more days we can’t go to the restaurant any more which makes me so sad because the...
Read moreUndiscovered gem, in my opinion. Fine dining at its best, no pretentiousness, just great flavours. We went even though we weren’t staying at the hotel and will be back. It’s next to the sea, hence the name, and surrounded by olive trees, quite idyllic. We ordered the Greek salad, the roasted octopus and the octopus in vinegar and the fried calamari for starters. I usually avoid eating octopus but this was extremely tender and delicious. The calamari and the salad were very authentic and were enjoyed by all. Now, the main course was the star of our dinner. Orzo with lobster. The presentation was impressive and the taste was delicious. Melt in your mouth good. The staff was very polite and helpful, helping us choose the wine to pair with our meals. My only gripe was that in the beginning there was no background music. Overall, couldn’t be happier and will definitely be...
Read moreEverything deserves a 5* We were a large group (at least, 90 pax) and we had such an amazing experience at Kyma!
Food: I absolutely loved every single dish and , I must said, we had a lot of food. From the salads, octopus, calamary, Orzo ( my fav!! ) and the sea bass on the grilled was just mouthwatering!!

The area: it is just perfect. We were outdoors, the sea was just close by and the decoration is very cute.
It is a shame I don't leave in Greece, otherwise I will come very...
