Nice location, good food, poor service. Expect longer service time or directly head for other lovely locations in this vicinity.

Took one of the outer table for lunch. After 20 minutes not been approached I got a menu myself. I had to stop a waiter to place my order which he reluctantly accepted. Food was good and the table nice so I went there the next day. As no one served the table after some 25 minutes I asked at the desk whether those 3 outer tables belong to the restaurant which was confirmed. The waiter we been served by was more of a thug then someone trying to provide basic customer service .. I went there with bunch of friends and did not feel safe as the waiter started screaming at us because he missed half the items we ordered

We ordered some very basic items in the afternoon when there were no customers at all. The waiter took 40 minutes to bring water . They forgot about starters ..main meal was missing half the order

Food was rubbish too.. just a waste of time

I really don’t think people should visit this restaurant if they are looking for a good day out...

The beach itself is not one of the best in Crete, but it has a number of advantages in a combination hard to find elsewhere. It is not organised, so take advantage of the shade the trees right on the sand offer. It is very long and for me the best part is on the right side, looking out to the sea, where the wind surfing facilities are.

And yes, you guessed it, it is an ideal wind surfing beach, attracting enthusiasts from all over. The wind does pick up, but there are no waves.

But it is also ideal for families with little children for the exact same reason. Shallow waters...
