Beach Bar-Restaurant Anchor — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Update Tuesday end of May 2022--- another tasty lunch served by one of the friendliest servers on Corfu island, Fotini . The meal was delicious but the real reason we keep coming back is Fotini--she has excellent customer service skills! Thank you so much for making our Corfu vacation so special.ευχαριστώ Amazing place with an incredible view!!!!!! This hideaway beach bar/restaurant/swimming cove is located about halfway between Benitses and Meshongi on the coast road. If you drive too fast you will definitely miss it......and that would be too bad. Parking is roadside out front. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm , with last food served at 5 pm. The restaurant overlooks an amazing swimming cove . The food is not fancy but the menu is complete. Loads of drink options. The tables are about 10-15 , all located on the cliff edge overlooking the Ionian sea. GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! I ordered the pork souvlaki and a Greek salad. The order is prepared across the street at the Aurora Hotel and then brought tableside across the street . The food was tasty and gain not fancy and recommended. Reasonable prices and exceptional and friendly service . But---that view---this the real reason. Just linger and chill!!!!!!!!!!! Final take---Come here to enjoy a satisfying lunch , a cool beverage , the VIEW , in my case also a swim and a snorkel. Beach report-- The beach below is rocky like most beaches on Corfu and sunbeds/loungers are limited but free, first come , first served. The waters are crystal clear!! !!!! Again...

The worst experience ever in greece. It was all empty bar and we waited for an hour for our food. When asked the waiter how long will it be to serve our food, she became extremely rude. Gyros comes with no bread, you have to pay extra. We found a hair in one gyros and a bug in the orange cake. Not a single apologise from the lady that was serving up. And the whole experience cost us almost 100 euro for a lunch for 4. Extremely...

Absolutely stunning location with the most amazing food. We have visited this bar twice whilst on holiday and not been disappointed either time, the lady server was lovely and very welcoming. They even had vegan options so my partner could eat with her dairy allergy. We will definitely be back and would recommend...
