Ionian Mare apartmani Agios Ioannis Peristeron — Hotel in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Very disappointed with this accommodation. We stayed there for a week. When we arrived we found that the shower handle was not working and the toilet was always running so it made a lot of noise all week. I told the lady at reception about the problem but they didn't do anything about the toilet, thankfully they replaced the shower handle. Next two days, I went to the cleaning lady to ask her if she could take out the trash. On the 4th day, when I was taking a shower, the shower hose broke, so I went to the front desk again, told them about the problem, and asked them if we could have the trash taken out every day. They said of course. Unfortunately, the next day when we came back from our trip, the trash was not taken out again, so I went to the front desk again and told them that I am angry and sad that they said that the trash would be taken out every day but wasn’t. Not only that but we also didn't have toilet paper so that was another problem. The lady at the front desk didn't even say she was sorry, she just said she will call the cleaning lady and gave me toilet paper. Fortunately, the cleaning lady took out the trash the next day, but that was it. We had the room cleaned and the towels changed only once that week. Another unpleasant experience was that when the repairman came to fix the shower, he didn't even take off his shoes before enterering the bathroom. The fridge was also noisy. Also note that there is no breakfast available at the 2 restaurants that are close by. The restaurants open at 11.00. All in all, I felt they didn't care at all, hence...

Deliziosa struttura con vista mare con ampio terrazzo, al primo piano. Pulito, confortevole, con cambio lenzuola e asciugamani. Ivana la propretaria carinamente ci ha assistito dall'inizio, ci ha fornito teli da mare, phon e prodotti bagno. Grazie al loro fantastico ed eccellente ristorante, abbiamo potuto gustare  deliziose colazioni, cena a base di piatti locali, cucina e servizio eccellenti. La prima sera ci hanno offerto da bere, ci hanno applicato il 10% di sconto, una magia mangiare sul mare ed assistere musica e danze locali tutte le sere.  Da provare, non sbaglierete nella prenotazione. Sempre grazie alle preziose informazioni di Ivana, dall'aeroporto abbiamo preso il bus per Marbella(jannis peristeron), ticket sul bus (1.80 euro) passando da Green Pass station, tragitto di 30 minuti circa. Ricordarsi dall'aeroporto al Gren Pass station potete andare a piedi, 10 minuti circa. Ivana la sera stessa ci ha fatto trovare i ticket pronti per i tour (prenotati da lei via mail) in barca per Paxsos e Antipaxos, e Albania Saranda, facendoci risparmiare molto, il transfer per il porto dalla struttura è stato comodissimo.  Chiedete sempre a Ivana, ha sempre la soluzione per voi. Visto che jannis peristeron è un poco trafficato se volete un po' di movimento prendete il bus per Corfù che passa ogni ora sotto l'hotel e andate a Corfù città o al porticciolo a 10 minuti di bus. Avete vicino il supermarket con souvenir e alimenti a basso costo, i proprietari parlano italiano. Per quanto riguarda Joanna Mare fidatevi di Ivana e e suo marito, sarà una vacanza strepitosa, volevano sempre offrirci qualcosa da bere mentre guardavamo lo spettacolo. We had the best time, the water is amazing, the hosts are wonderful and the food - especially lunch and dinner - with Saturday entertainment was fantastic, feel sorry I didn't book it longer 🥹 only downside would be that the rooms were not cleaned every day so we had a lot of trash that wasn't taken, as well as the main road cuts the apartment from the beach - but we got used to that rather fast 🤗 Otherwise not a great lot of things around, so it rather calm, the beach and tavernas have absolutely a local feel to it and we were welcomed every...
