ENGLISH If you're looking for a good pizza on Corfu, you'll be in for a real treat at Pizzeria Sul Posto. The pizzas here taste remarkably good, because the operators have good pasta & pizzas in their blood, so to speak. The family's pizza history goes back to the 70s and we could taste the quality and flair for a good pizza, fresh and tasty ingredients in each of the pizzas we tried.
We had a Tonno, a Salami as well as a Capricciosa and all of them were convincing! The base, the cheese, the very well-balanced toppings and the necessary roasted aromas and flavour of the wood-fired oven brought together what belongs together - my compliments!
The service at Sul Posto comes from the heart, the location is not "fancy", but hey it's all about the palate here. You can watch the professional’s making pizza, everything is transparent and they cater to the customers' wishes - what more could you want.
I highly recommend this pizzeria - enjoy trying out this culinary highlight on Corfu!

DEUTSCH Wer auf Korfu eine gute Pizza sucht, wird bei der Pizzeria Sul Posto seine wahre Freude haben. Die Pizzen hier schmecken bemerkenswert gut, denn die Betreiber haben gute Pasta & Pizzen sozusagen im Blut. Die Pizza-Geschichte der Familie reicht bis in die 70er Jahre und die Qualität und das Gespür für eine gute Pizza, frische und schmackhafte Zutaten haben wir bei jeder der von uns probierten Pizzen herausgeschmeckt.
Wir hatten eine Tonno, eine Salami so wie eine Capricciosa und alle haben überzeugt! Der Boden, der Käse, der jeweils sehr ausgewogene Belag sowie die nötigen Röstaromen und das Aroma des mit Holz bestückten Ofens haben zusammengebracht was zusammengehört – mein Kompliment!
Der Service im Sul Posto kommt von Herzen, die Location ist nicht „fancy“, aber hey es geht hier um den Gaumen. Man kann den Profis beim Pizzabacken zuschauen, alles ist transparent und man geht auf die Wünsche der Kunden ein – was will man mehr.
Ich kann diese Pizzeria wärmstens weiterempfehlen - viel Freude beim Ausprobieren dieses kulinarischen Highlights auf Korfu!

Came manager and asked me if I am alone not to occupy tables in front and offered me table or near kitchen or in center where is very uncomfortable. Dear “Sul Posto”, if you sort customers just for how much money they can bring you, and if it’s solo person and you don’t like it - put sigh that “only 2 person or more accepted for table”- it will be more honest, and not so unpleasant. Read moreWe ate several times in this restaurant. Moraitika has 2 pizzeria shops one across the other. We visited both. This one has way more customers, and I would guess that the main reason is because of the lower waiting time.
All the food that we tried here was nice.
All the staff is super-friendly, and the service is really nice.
Also, and it might sound strange :), but food here is not as greasy as in other fast-food style restaurants in Moraitika. So yes - pizza can be a healthier choice when you are in Greece :).
