The Rose Garden is a Greek gem in a culinary class of its own, where not only Corfiot cuisine is celebrated at the highest level, but also sustainably managed. A quality that separates the wheat from the chaff in today's world of restaurants!

The noble restaurant invites you in with its dignified, but not aloof ambience and you immediately feel at ease when you cross the threshold of this temple of Corfiot delicacies.

We were particularly struck by the natural, open-heartedness of the service staff. The chef exudes a welcoming charm and her husband, Tasos - an excellent chef who has won many awards and is known beyond the borders of Greece - enchants the guests' palates with modern dishes whose roots are always in the cuisine of Corfu, and this at quite reasonable prices.

It was our first time at the Rose Garden and we had a fantastic meal and a wonderful evening with good friends - what more could you expect?

It should also be mentioned that the Rosengarten is exceptionally well-stocked when it comes to wines - whether rosé, a good red, white wine or non-alcoholic wines - you can find just about anything your heart desires here.

A clear recommendation to you - if you are on Corfu visit this great restaurant, but don't forget to book in advance - the quality of the place has already spread...

Der Rosengarten ist ein griechisches Kleinod der kulinarischen Sonderklasse, hier wird nicht nur die korfiotische Küche auf höchstem Niveau zelebriert, sondern zudem auch nachhaltig gewirtschaftet. Eine Qualität die in der heutigen Welt der Restaurants die Spreu vom Weizen trennt!

Das edle Restaurant lädt mit seinem gediegenen, aber nicht abgehobenen Ambiente ein und man fühlt sich sofort wohl, wenn man die Schwelle zu diesem Tempel der korfiotischen Köstlichkeiten überschritten hat.

Besonders positiv ist uns die natürliche, offen Herzlichkeit des Service-Personals aufgefallen. Die Chefin versprüht einen einladenden Charme und Ihr Mann, Tasos – ein hervorragender, viele Male prämierter und über die Grenzen Griechenlands bekannter Chefkoch, verzaubert die Gaumen der Gäste mit modernen Gerichten, deren Wurzeln stets in der Küche Korfus verortet sind, und dies zu durchaus angemessenen Preisen.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Rosengarten und haben fantastisch gut gegessen und einen wundervollen Abend mit guten Freunden verbracht – was will man mehr.

Es sei noch erwähnt, der Rosengarten ist außergewöhnlich gut bestückt, wenn es um Weine geht – ob Rosé, ein guter Roter, Weißwein oder aber auch alkoholfreie Weine – hier findet man so gut wie alles was das Herz begehrt.

Eine klare Empfehlung an euch – solltet Ihr auf Korfu sein besucht dieses tolle Restaurant, aber vergesst nicht vorab zu reservieren – die Qualität des Ortes hat sich bereits herumgesprochen…

Me, the wife and toddler, tried this place twice on our stay in Moraitika. Both times we went for the maze sharer, which offered a lot of different dishes of Greece, both hot and cold, meaty and veg. I had two cold beers as well, while my wife went for some cold bottled water.

The food both times was pretty good, and the service in this place was excellent, the waitresses were very friendly, informative on the dishes, and a credit to the restaurant.

We absolutely loved the food the first time, but the second time not so much. I'd say we might have got a bit tired of our two week holiday by then, who knows but felt that the meal might be a little pricey for the quantity. We really should have tried a different dish second time round to be fair.

Anyway the restaurant is nice and quiet and has a small little playground at the side, which was a real help for our very excitable and difficult to stay still toddler. Overall it is...

We had such an incredible experience here when we were on vacation last week. Firstly, the staff are warm, friendly, and professional. They took the time to explain each dish and the concept behind it, as well as telling us where each ingredient came from (all local, all delicious!). The food itself was wonderful. A fantastic selection of dishes which are well put together and beautifully presented and mind-blowingly tasty! Highly recommended the taramousalata with shrimp and pickled samphire which was an absolute delight! Both our lamb dishes were cooked perfectly and the desserts are incredibly indulgent and the portions are generous! We don't drink alcohol and so were impressed to see a great selection of alcohol free choices including wines, spirits (seedlip) and beers.
