Worst service ever, would give zero if it was possible, we specifically requested to bring salad, appetisers which never came for a group of 9 people. We had a few separate orders too, each of them was served separately and our main platter of 4 fresh fish was served on a bare plate with just slices of lemon. The fish were grilled without even salt on them, and served with nothing at all, despite the main request to serve us with a platter that included all that.

It would have been useless to try to correct this after waiting over an hour for the food.

Also, the bill was wrong and we were being charged for an item we didn't order.

AVOID this place like the plague!

Reply to the restaurant's reply below: The service was so incredibly bad that there was no opportunity to call someone to show anything or ask for anything to be added not even for napkins or anything. The restaurant had already served mains for a part of our group then brought the main platter with nothing on it, but the fish, 40 minutes later. They didn't even ask if we wanted everything together or one by one. When the platter was ordered I had said to the waiter very clearly to bring it with some sides specific for the platter of fresh fish, he acted like he understood, but either didn't understand or forgot.

Not sure what exactly the restaurant is suggesting it would have done at this point, made us wait another hour for a salad after the main 'platter' of grilled fish was served completely bare?

Fresh fish is good by nature, not that a little salt would not have helped, but being served bare with nothing else like that so long after half the guests had finished eating, and this despite asking for sides with the platter is a very ridiculous level of service.

The restaurant even tried to charge us with an extra item, then the bill couldn't be edited and I had me wait for another 10 minutes after the bill over their POS issue, I wanted to quietly just pay and leave until the "mistake" on the bill and then not being able to correct it act happened, which after that service, really pushed it with me.

In the end, I paid cash just to be able to leave, after watching a maximum level of staff Chaos at the cash counter for another 5-10 mins, it's a joke to even call whatever happened for our "table service".

Absolutely ridiculous!

I would have understood the restaurant talking about correction, if the waiter had at least passed by once to ask if we needed something or if everything was okay, like what any normal restaurant would do. They dropped the food and couldn't come by even for...

I have often been to this lovely tavern and always loved it! Yesterday however, on a hot sunny Sunday, I was invited for a late lunch and encountered a tavern that had lost control due to overcrowding that they just couldn't handle ... which is especially bad for a group of guests, like us, who had a confirmed reservation , made in person at the tavern ... to avoid any mistakes! 😟🤔😟

It goes without saying that the service was totally inadequate and the food was way below the high standard of all my previous visits ... resulting in the removal of one of the review stars! 😟😟

I'm sure I'll go back again ... but never on a Sunday ... and when I do ... I look forward to enjoying the tavern I've written about below! 😉😊😉 A great tavern that serves tasty and a well made tradtional Greek food with a focus on fresh fish, shellfish, appetizers and salads.

Apart from their outstanding food, their location is tops...right on the seafront, with a beautiful view that is perfect for a delightful summer meal. 👍😋👍

In winter they have indoor seating but I much prefer their outdoor tables, either on the sidewalk but best by the sea. 😊😍😊
