We visited Umami Restaurant on a Tuesday night for a late dinner, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and seated by Georgos, who took exceptional care of us throughout the night.

The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening – cozy, intimate, and with just the right amount of buzz in the air. Georgos’ attention to detail and knowledge of the menu made our dining experience even more special. He took the time to explain the dishes, recommending some of their standout options that truly embodied the fusion of flavors Umami is known for.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was a celebration of fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. We especially loved the sushi and the exquisite mains, each with a unique twist that made it memorable. Pairing our meal with some of their carefully selected wines really rounded out the experience.

Even though it was a late dinner, there was no rush. We felt relaxed and taken care of, with Georgos ensuring that everything was timed perfectly, from the appetizers to dessert.

I was disappointed by the food at the nearby “5 star” hotel where I was staying and by chance found myself dining at Umami. Wow! Umami is an all around 5 star dining experience that you must not miss! I had the pleasure of meeting and being served by Jonathon and his mother, Jill… top notch customer service and such kind people that I'll never forget! I dined outdoors and the views were amazing. I went inside simply to use the (very clean) bathroom and was amazed at the impeccable and charming decor inside. The first night, I had the daily special salad with pears, walnuts, Greek cheese, prawns, and dessert. I really can't find the words to describe how delicious everything was. Especially, the prawns…I'm drooling thinking of them! I was so impressed that I went back for dinner the next night. Sadly, I devoured the sea bass before taking a pic. I recently enjoyed a late-night delight at Umami Cocktail Restaurant that truly impressed me! We were served by the fantastic Georgos who made sure our experience was nothing short of excellent, even as the night was winding down. The highlight of the meal was the “Tryavntó auyo” burger – a succulent creation of 100% beef mince, topped with a perfectly fried egg, cheddar cheese, fresh tomato, crisp iceberg lettuce, and a divine truffle mayonnaise. Served with golden French fries, it was a flavor explosion in every bite! My friend opted for the same burger but with a unique twist of Metsovone cheese, adding a special touch to an already fantastic meal. The ambiance was just as delightful, with an amazing music atmosphere that perfectly complemented our late-night feast.
