Great honest food in unbelievably hearty portions. None of the pretentiousness of the nearby restaurants, only the friendliest service and simple yet perfectly crafted food. Bite-sized meatballs like mom used to make, Greek-style carbonara (the cream version) that took us back to the 90s, and a shrimp omelet with onions browned to sweet perfection. The airy cream-filled fyllo pastry offered in the end is irresistible. The prices rarely go above 7-9 euros per main dish; starters are around 4 euros and salads somewhere in between. As a Greek American I came to this beach to reserve a sun chair. The restaurant had multiple chairs and umbrellas available. I was told the chairs were reserved for others.
