Ciel Bar was awful. Small disappointing menu, with no fish options. For a restaurant on the seafront you'd hope there would be some fish!

We went there to celebrate my friend's degree, our waitress was great, starters were nice. The issues started when the mains came out. The gnocchi was soggy and had a very strange taste, so far from Italian you may as well have been in the north pole. The veal was ordered medium rare, it came out well done, so I sent it back (which the waitress agreed with). After waiting for the replacement, I cancelled it as the rest of my group had finished their meals. Unfortunately I was 'too late' to cancel it, after another couple of minutes the dish came out. I had two mouthfuls, one of which I spat out. It was chewy and tasteless. I'd bet money it was frozen to be honest.

Our waitress sent over the manager to talk to us about it. The manager was full of attitude from the off, so so rude. I tried to politely explain the issues but the manager spoke over me and told me that's my opinion. After back and forth, keeping my composure, although I was feeling really quite upset with how I was spoken to, she eventually agreed to take my meal off the bill, before storming off.

If only we had walked out before our mains came like the table next to us did, we might have had a nice meal!

Avoid at all costs, the place is a rip off with a manager who probably should go and see a therapist for all that...

Pizza wasn’t that good, not balanced, too much cheese, so you can’t taste other ingredients. Unbelievably bad and rude service. They forget orders and deal in an unacceptable way with it. We had to ask for several things twice and they did not get served. The waitress charged us two orange juices (one is 5€) instead of one- a order which never came. It’s a mistake which can happen if there are many clients and not enough staff- i can completely empathize with this. But what I can’t understand is the way she did deal with her mistake. She was annoyed, interrupting me all the time and said she didn’t not believe me. First she did not even want to cancel the wrongly charged juice, said she would not do anything about it, because she does not do mistakes. After talking to her supervisor - in a way I could clearly see it- she came to me letting me know that if I insist she would have to pay the double order from her tipps. A very beautiful place with a sea view! Tasty sweet dishes, nice coffee, amazing relaxing atmosphere! Τέλεια! :)

Update: We went for brunch today and made a call at 11am to book the place for 6 people to come in an hour in case the bar is full (Sunday...brunch time...), the girl told us not to worry as there is place...OK...but when we arrived there were not available seats on the sofas outside in the terrace and they only offered us to seat with high bar chairs...so uncomfortable especially with a small child!!! Sorry but why not BOOK THE SEATS for us in advance by phone if there are no good seats after... The αλμυρά pancakes we ordered were not well-cooked and...why to put SWEET pancakes for αλμυρά φαγητό;( The sweet pancakes and τσουρέκι are...
