Tselementes Greek Cuisine — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

I enjoyed the traditional food from the counter at this restaurant the most during our 3 day visit to Thessaloniki.

I had stuffed zucchini which was amazing, fresh and light. The octopus and cheese were also good.

I would have liked to sample the menu further if we stayed longer.

Half way through our meal we were joined by about 40 8 year old who filled every spare seat indoors and out. Kind of spoilt the atmosphere for us 😩 since we were now sitting in the school dinner hall !

Would have been nice if the owner had pointed this out when we booked earlier in the afternoon so we could have avoided the school booking and enjoyed a longer relaxing meal an hour later rather than getting out of the restaurant asap to avoid the excessive excitement...

The food was honestly very good although it was cold when it was delivered. I had pre ordered my fried fish 3 days in advance through the on line ordering system specifying the exacted hour of delivering having in mind that because of the day it might be a delay of apx. 30 minutes . Unfortunately we got our order after almost 4 hours and 3 phone calls that I had to make to the restaurant and never getting an apology .

Hit and miss experience.

Our first dining experience was amazing. I had the grilled squid and my partner had the souvlaki and it was so so amazing that we decided to go for seconds.

Our second dining experience which we just had was very average. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took over 30 minutes for food to be served and while waiting, I had lost my appetite. Ordered the grilled sausage and it came out so bland I couldn't finish it. Worth a try but maybe don't go...
