This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The warm lighting, rustic decor, and friendly owners - staff make it an ideal place for a relaxed meal.
In particular, I’ve been looking forward to trying Fourtalia (fluffy omelette with potatoes and sausage) , local dish of Tinos, for awhile now, and was so glad that I did in this restaurant as they also offer a special version with extra ingredients! We also ordered the cheese-pepper-olives-sundried tomato fried pie, the local Tinian sausage, the pumpkin pie, and the Louza of Tinos (can be compared to prosciutto). All their dishes that we tried were exceptionally cooked and made from fresh local products.
Tips: The kitchen closes at 22:00. The seating area does not have many tables so do not visit at the very last moment. Also, it is a slow cooking establishment, so plan ahead, be patient and enjoy the waiting with a cold beer or a glass...
Read moreOne of the dearest memories from my first time on Tinos island, was the sweet old lady at the kafenio of Krokos village, serving us the meal she cooked at home for her family & a sweet treat at the end, to celebrate her grandsons’ achievements. Antonis & Vaggelis, serve great plates & spirits-wine & raki-with fresh materials from their own production, with a bright smile & sincere hospitality. Don’t miss the special froutalia(traditional Tenian omellette with sausage & potatoes) & the stuffed kolokithoanthous(baked zucchini flowers stuffed with rice). Ever since, Kyra Leni is my most favorite place on the island, not only for its nostalgic, authentic style & great food but also because I always...

This was one of them and as excellent as she said. Very good homecooked food, great and very friendly service and cosy atmosphere. We had stuffed zucchini flowers, stuffed wine leaves, a traditional fried bread filled with yoghurt and spinach, (tiganopsomo) tzatziki, baked chickpeas and a parsley dip. The food was excellent.
I higly recommend this litte place which takes maximum 34 guests (maybe they add more tables in high season but still it will be a small tavern so do book a...
