Had the most delicious pork you will ever eat. 9 hours slow cook on the knuckle and when it turned up, I nearly died.it was.so big! It was enough to share between 2 but wow oh wow, the flavour, the way it fell off the bone and the tender meat just melted in the mouth! On top of that the salad we ordered was lovely, the chips were the beat I've tasted on the island (simple but the flavour clean and to die for!)and the aubergine starter was absolutely devine. Honestly I dont think anything here will disappoint, oh and we saw someone orde rthe tomahawk which was incredible and gave us food envy! The table polished it off, nothing g left but the bone. I think that says it all fot this place. Oh, no wait, the cheesecake they brought out after (all dessert is a thank you here in Greece) well, it was also blow away tasty. Just come and see for yourself. Form thw outside we nearly passed this place as we drove by in Steni, don't! Put it on your gp to. The old town is lovely, this place thou is stand out over the tavernas in the old town. The food much better. And the bill equally as good. €50 3 starters and 1 main plate and 1/2 kilo of wine, water and and bread. If that helps put it...

We heard about this place from some friends and decided to stay there for a 3day break in July. The room was pleasant, with adequate space, a small kitchen and comfortable beds. The veranda outside the rooms was the starting point of our day, were all decisions were taken, breakfast was eaten and get together place with our friends who stayed next room to ours. When we first saw the website we feared that the taverna and bar would be noisy during the night but our fears proved wrong. By the way, you should definitely try the taverna, their pork/beef is outstanding, thanks to home raised animals. The owners, Kostas and Katerina are very friendly and a very good source of info pretty much about anything you might need from beaches to local history. They were kind enough to stand us a round of drinks one night watermelon for everybody another afternoon. We were even allowed to sleep for a couple of hours until 20:00 when we were informed that our 16:40 boat to Pireus had been cancelled and had to buy tickets for 22:10...
