Although almost every corner of the island is breathtaking, a truly unforgettable gem is Amiseli. Nestled in the heart of Tinos, in the charming village of Steni, this restaurant takes you on a journey from traditional island flavors to modern culinary creations. The food is both imaginative and delicious, perfectly complemented by the picturesque setting of the village square, beneath the shade of a plane tree, in a spot so well placed that the island winds don't reach you. The staff are wonderfully welcoming, offering genuine Greek hospitality at its finest. This is exactly the kind of place you dream of when coming to the...

Amiseli is located in a small village square that may not look particularly special at first, but the spot where the restaurant sits is charming and well kept. The menu is focused on traditional Greek dishes, with some attempts at revisiting them, though not always successfully.

The overall food quality was mixed. We tried a steak, which unfortunately was quite tough, and the meatballs served with yogurt and pita bread, which were average but nothing memorable. While the atmosphere is pleasant, the food didn’t really...

Honestly, the most remarkable food on the whole island. Flavourful food in a marriage of traditional, local and contemporary cuisine with flavors that awaken and create memories under some plane trees in a small and extremely hospitable village, the Amiseli gives pleasing, delicious and fresh notes especially since the owners are three young children with appetite and love for what they do! Visit it is worthy and I highly recommend it! (Also suitable for families...

Honestly, it’s on my top 3 spots in Tinos! Relaxed, modest and authentic. Excellent cuisine, the best katsekaki 🐑I’ve ever tasted!! Must be a family run business otherwise the staff is handpicked wisely. Attentive and easy going. Tip 💡make sure you bring a jacket if you visit in the evening. Village of Steni is always chilly at night. Reservation highly recommended 😉
