We stumbled upon this charming Greek tavern on our way back from Sounio, and it proved to be the perfect spot to indulge in a delightful meal. The location is inviting, making it an ideal pit stop for weary travelers.

Absolutely incredible, if you are chasing an authentic Greek experience for lunch or dinner, then this is one place not to be missed. Do your taste buds a favour and book a table, you will not regret it. All food is cooked the traditional Greek way, slow cooked lamb, you can choose pretty much any part of the lamb from the brains to the succulent meat, flavours that burst in your mouth, freshly baked bread. The Salad is a must with fresh garden vegetables and chilled roasted vegetables topped with a huge slab of feta and dressed with a traditional Greek dressing, honestly the best salad I have eaten anywhere in the world. We finished off with a traditional Greek desert locally made ice cream topped (and I mean topped) with a river of local honey. One of the most "historical" places to eat meat in Athens (although it's kinda far from it). If you don't mind the guys at the front inviting you in and helping you park (and generally being slimy), or you even find the whole procedure pleasant because it's so "Greek", then you'll probably love this. The overall atmosphere is supposed to be "ok we are still stuck in old times when Greece was not very European".

The food is good and the prices are "normal"-ish, but I daresay you go there for the "feeling" more than anything else.
