Tonight I and a long time friend that I had not seen for many yeas went to "The Island" for dinner! What can I say! The food was amazing, There is not one dish I would not order again. But that was not all. Next comes the environment relaxing well kept, beautiful. The service... simply EXCELLENT! However, above and beyond (and so very much contributory to meeting an old old friend) was the attitude. I - a Greek - have rarely come across such an upbeat behavior, so much kindness and dedication to make our evening a perfect one. Congratulations to people thjat hold their profession so high. Congrats to the management that keeps employees happy. Management makes things happen or destroys everything. Treasure your servers....

Από περιέργεια θελήσαμε και εμείς να πάμε στο συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί. Πήρε η σύντροφος 3 ημέρες πριν τηλέφωνο για κράτηση θέσης 2 ατόμων για την Κυριακή 12/5/2024. Τους είπε μάλιστα και σε ποιο σημείο θέλαμε να κάτσουμε αφού είχαμε περάσει μια φορά και είχαμε δει τον εξωτερικό χώρο και μας άρεσε σαν εικόνα. Κρατήσανε όνομα, τηλέφωνο και ώρα που θα πηγαίναμε. Όταν πήγαμε (πάντα στην ώρα μας) το μαγαζί ήταν κατά το 1/5 γεμάτο με πολλά πολλά άδεια τραπέζια στον χώρο που είχαμε δηλώσει. Αναφέραμε το όνομα της κράτησης και μας είπαν ότι τελικά η κράτηση δεν είχε γίνει. Μας υπόδειξαν ένα τραπέζι αλλού, μέσα στον ήλιο, όχι εκεί που είχαμε ζητήσει ΚΟΛΛΗΤΑ σε ένα ζευγάρι που έτρωγε λες και θα ήμασταν παρέα. Με το μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό του μαγαζιού άδειο. Μας είπαν να πάμε μέσα όπου η βαβούρα και η φασαρία από τις λίγες έστω παρέες που υπήρχαν θύμιζε διαδήλωση στο σύνταγμα. Ζητήσαμε ευγενικά ένα συγκεκριμένο τραπέζι που είδαμε άδειο, στον χώρο που θέλαμε και χωρίς να είναι κρατημένο από άλλους. Μας είπαν ότι δεν μπορούμε να κάτσουμε εκεί γιατί το τραπέζι αυτό ήταν για... τέσσερα άτομα και όχι για δύο. Πίσω μας ακριβώς ήταν ένα ζευγάρι 2 ατόμων σε ένα τραπέζι για τέσσερα. Όταν τους το αναφέραμε μας έκαναν τους Κινέζους. Εκείνη την στιγμή είχα αρχίσει να παίρνω ανάποδες στροφές. Ήθελα να κάτσω όπου μου αρέσει και αν ερχόταν κάποιος να μου ζητήσει ρέστα θα αρχίζανε να πέφτουνε οι σφαλιάρες σύννεφο. Ειλικρινά. Η σύντροφος με έπεισε να φύγουμε και της χρωστάτε μεγάλη χάρη γιατί μόνο με αστυνομία θα την γλιτώνατε μετά. Λοιπόν "κύριοι" επειδή το έχετε ξεφτιλήσει το θέμα και δεν σέβεστε καθόλου τον Έλληνα πελάτη. Η ελληνική νομοαθεσία προβλέπει ότι ο πελάτης κάθεται ΟΠΟΥ ΓΟΥΣΤΑΡΕΙ εφόσον το τραπέζι δεν είναι κρατημένο. ΠΛΗΡΩΝΕΙ ΚΑΙ ΚΑΘΕΤΑΙ ΟΠΟΥ ΘΕΛΕΙ ΕΚΕΙΝΟΣ ΟΧΙ ΟΠΟΥ ΘΕΛΕΤΕ ΕΣΕΙΣ. Τελικά πήγαμε αλλού και χαλάσαμε 60 ευρώ 2 άτομα διότι εμείς δεν ήρθαμε για το 15ευρο της προσφοράς αλλά για το περιβάλλον το οποίο μας άρεσε. Έχω υποσχεθεί στον εαυτό μου ότι από αύριο Δευτέρα 13/5 επειδή προσωπικα έχω την δυνατότητα αυτή, θα σας στέλνω κάθε τόσο ότι έλεγχο υπάρχει (υγιεινομικό, φορολογικό κλπ) μέχρι να το κλείσετε ή να μάθετε να σέβεστε όχι μόνο τα 60 ή 15 ευρώ αλλά ακόμα και το 1 ευρώ του Έλληνα καταναλωτή, ειδικά...
