Update: The owner has posted a false and defamatory reply. We have reported this to Google. Police were called and confirmed there was no crime. We had already paid for food we did not eat.
The worst dining experience my wife and I have ever had in Greece. We ordered meze, calamari, and then fish – but the kitchen ignored this, cooked everything at once, and insulted us when we complained. The owner’s son stood over our table aggressively, demanded payment for food we hadn’t eaten, and even made racist remarks because we are Turkish.
The police were eventually called and confirmed no crime was committed, but by then our night was ruined. We paid and left the untouched food behind.
Shameful service, hostile treatment, and open racism. Strongly advise everyone – especially Turkish visitors – to avoid this place.

This was by far the worst dining experience my wife and I have ever had in Greece.
We ordered appetizers first, then calamari, and finally fish. I specifically spoke with the waiter and asked that the dishes be served in this order, since fish might sell out. Only a short time later, the fish arrived immediately. I told the waiter it was too early, and he apologized and went back to the kitchen. When I later went to the kitchen door to ask them not to cook the calamari yet, I was told it was already done. The cook rudely said: “This is our policy. Should I stand here for hours waiting for your pleasure?”
At that point I asked why I had even spoken to the waiter if the kitchen would simply cook whatever they wanted. Shortly after, the father (the owner) came and told us: “If you don’t like it, leave. This is how we serve here.” Later the son and mother also came to our table. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they packed the dishes we had not eaten, brought them with the bill, and demanded we pay for food and drinks we never consumed.
Even though I said we would finish what we had, pay, and leave, the son stood over our table in an intimidating manner. When I said this made it impossible for us to eat, the mother told us to leave. As we headed to the door, the son aggressively walked toward me, demanded payment, and even made racist remarks about us being Turkish. He said his family were “the first settlers on the island” and insulted us repeatedly. The father threatened to call the police; I encouraged him to do so. Eventually, the police arrived, confirmed there was no crime, and left.
By then, my wife was extremely upset and we had lost all appetite. We left the restaurant without touching the food, even though we had already paid. The racist insults, the disrespectful treatment, and the complete lack of hospitality turned what should have been a pleasant night into the worst evening we have ever had in Greece.
I strongly advise Turkish visitors (and frankly anyone who values respectful service) to avoid this place. The owners themselves even admitted that online ratings don’t matter to them. Clearly, they do not belong in the...

Read moreWe spent 5 days on Samos, eating at different restaurants throughout the island. All 4 in our party agreed this was the best food we had on the island. Great staff, clean kitchen, great tasting food. It was not the cheapest dinner we had but you can tell they use fresh and quality ingredients. We loved their Greek salad. Their ouzo was the tastiest. Get their grilled mastello cheese. They use local olive oil which was on our table. We topped it off with yogurt with honey. It was yummy. Very quiet and great view as well. I was kinda upset that they didn't have octopus on their menu. Would have been pretty cool to taste their version.
We also noted that their patrons were mostly Greeks, which is a contrast versus all the tourist traps in...
