Valsamo by the Sea — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Samos

First we came to the restaurant and we waited 7min for waitress to come and there were only 2 other tables with people. We ordered 2 pork souvlaki, 1 saganaki shrimps, 1 burger, milkshake and a beer. After ~5 minutes came milkshake and beer it was fine but we didnt get any bread wich is unusual and already a bad sign in Greece.

First came saganaki wich had shrimps in shells wich is ok but not prefferable but shrimps legs were all over the dish you had to take them 1 by 1 or eat it. Legs shouldnt be separated. It tasted not that bad but it wasn't good also.

AND AFTER 20 minutes came pork souvlaki. In most restaurants dishes are served at the same time as they should be. But this is not the worst part. Meat was inedible it was tough hard and chewy and maybe raw but not sure about that you can judge it from photos. It was so hard my grandma couldnt chew through it. Fried that came with that were limp and probably frozen without salt and there was no salt on the table, there was no salt at any table.

I ordered a beef burger and i waited for 27minutes after souvlaki arrived and i never got the burger maybe for the best.

While eating waiter tried to take away our plates, she wasnt around and you had to go inside and ask for the bill, bit unusual for me. Service and food were terrible but at least the view is good but not...

On Samos we visited different restaurants in different places. But with my girlfriend, who generally has a problem with eating in restaurants, we keep coming back here. We have never left dissatisfied, for many times we have left delighted. Every dish tastes exactly as it should, nothing is missing. Everything is always perfectly prepared. Don't be afraid to ask if they have a special of the day, they tend to be delicious as well. As for the service, we are delighted with the team. The prices are absolutely reasonable, the portions are very good. And a wonderful view of the green hills and the quiet bay. The restaurant owner/manager and the waitress are very very friendly. The food is very clean, delicious and looks great. The yoghurt with fruit bowl was awesome you can even have it as main dish. The club sandwich and chicken souvlaki, greek salad and spagetti bolognese were all very good. We were so happy that we did not look for alternatives for lunch.
