The restaurant has a nice vibe and a certain look that distinguishes it from the countless tavernas around. They are proud of cooking everything in-house, home made recipes. Service is quick and courteous. They're happy to explain everything on the menu. I'm sad I can't give them more stars, but, unfortunately, I think a restaurant is first and foremost about the food. And the food was bland. Nothing really good. We tried the eggplant salad (dip), the fava mashed beans, the fried yellow cheese, fish soup, mousaka and the hamburger. The eggplant dip was the only really good dish. The others lacked salt. The mashed beans tasted like supermarket tasteless hummus, the fried cheese was not salty and a bit sweet, the fish soup was not salty and not sour, but oily and with too many potatoes, the mousaka was not salty and bland and the hamburger was really dry. My daughter didn't eat it, and she eats everything, and she loves burgers.
In the end we paid 45€ for the above, plus two waters and a beer. Really good price, I think.
Sorry Souel, I really hope you do better in the future. Or maybe...
