Restaurant Taverna Mira-Mare — Restaurant in Paggaio Municipality

We visited this restaurant twice while we were in Nea Peramos. The location is very nice as it is close to the centre on the main beach street. It has nice sea view so I recommend booking a table in advance. We usually call around noon. Service is good - you may wait a bit until the server arrives but once you order everything comes fast. I can say that everything was very well prepared and delicious and we were very satisfied. Portions were big and there were all kinds of options in the menu - from sea food to chicken and pork. The food at the restaurant is offensively bad. They served us a seafood platter that consisted only of a few fried sprats, 4 over-fried shrimp that weren’t cleaned, and a bit of calamari for 16€. The Greek salad was half the portion normally served. I had hoped, based on the comments, that the issue would just be the slow service, but the kitchen is truly disappointing and relies only on the location. I definitely regret sitting down...

The place itself is great with a great sea view. I read a lot of complaints about the service but in our case the server was super nice guy, polite and friendly.
