Ταβέρνα Αρχιπέλαγος — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

Everything that we tried was very tasty from start to end. The zucchini like french fries with home made tzatziki are a must try starter. Salty, crispy and litle sweet from it self. The mussels were so small but full of flavor. Made with green peper, fennel and local wine. Tasted sweet and with clean sea scent. Fried shrimps in a thin layer of tempura batter cooked to crispines and still soft inside with the juices in the head kept-amazingly amazing. The sardines made on grill are with scent of the fire,very litle burned outside that gives them that BB taste and jucie inside.The meat is very tasty, tender and it falls in your fingers. With litle lemon and they are gone. Next to the river Acheron and it has that cool breeze from the river. The place is not as it looks. You think that you will just eat a meal but it turns out its a place to seat,relax and let your self to the wonders of their kitchen. Didn't expected but will...

This place deserves 10 stars if I can give it . It’s a family run establishment that care about their guest and the quality food they serve. The best food we’ve had all summer in all of Greece and we ate out every night all month long. The best mousaka , the tomatoes we the freshest I’ve had all of their ingredients were from the garden. We were so impressed with this establishment that we tipped the server 25% in a country where tipping is not a thing. My family and I will definitely be back to amoudia to eat here again ....

Δυστυχώς δεν έχω άποψη για το χώρο, την ατμόσφαιρα και πόσο μάλλον για το φαγητό αφού από το τηλέφωνο ήταν αγενέστατοι. Κάλεσα στη ταβερνα Αρχιπέλαγος έχοντας απόσταση 40’ από το οίκημα που έμενα με όλη τη διάθεση να βρεθώ εκεί εφόσον οι κριτικές ήταν άριστες. Ωστόσο ήθελα να μάθω αν έχει μείνει φρέσκο ψάρι και αν ναι τι ψάρι. Με αγένεια και μονολεκτικά η κυρία που σήκωσε αρχικά το τηλέφωνο μου απάντησε ότι δεν μπορούν να μου πουν αν έχουν και τι ψάρι και θα πρέπει να πάω από εκεί. Τους εξήγησα πως έχουμε 40’ απόσταση και δεν καταλαβαίνω το λόγο που δεν μπορούν να με ενημερώσουν αν έχουν φρέσκο ψάρι και τι ψαρι έχει μείνει. Κάπου εκεί μου έκλεισαν απότομα το τηλέφωνο. Ξανά κάλεσα πίσω προφανώς να ζητήσω να φέρονται με ευγένεια στους πελάτες τους μιας και δεν ζήτησα να μπω στο σπίτι τους αλλά σε μια ταβέρνα που θεωρητικά υπάρχουν κάποια άγραφοι κανόνες ευγένειας και δεν μπορούν να έχουν αυτή τη συμπεριφορά. Ο κυριος που το σήκωσε τη δεύτερη φορά μου είπε πως μπορούν να ακολουθούν όποια πολιτική επιθυμούν όπως και εκείνοι δεν επεμβαίνουν στο πως εγώ συμπεριφέρομαι στο σπίτι μου. Μάλλον εκτός από το να συμπεριφέρονται απροσάρμοστα έχουν μπερδέψει τη επιχείρηση που διατηρούν με τις προσωπικές τους πεποιθήσεις. Λυπάμαι διότι από τις κριτικές αντιλαμβάνομαι πως κανείς δεν χρειάστηκε να καλέσει πριν βρεθεί...
