Ta Kimata — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

We ordered starters (pickled octopus, tzaziki, fried zucchini, fried yellow cheese, salad) and sea food (grilled octopus, squid, grilled sardine, grilled sea bream). Unfortunately, most of them disappointed us. We are generally used to have good food in the resaturants of this area, however Ta Kimata was not one of them. We were unable to chew pickled octopus and grilled octopus. Squid was also not good. Zucchini slices were thick so they were not crunchy. Sea bream and Sardine were well cooked. In summary, I do not recommend this restaurant.

Taverna Ta Kymata is the best fish taverna in Ammoudia. We ate octopus, calamari, salats, grilled zucchini, zucchini fried balls. My son had pasta with tomato sauce in addition. Except the pasta that was too much cooked, the rest was just excelent! The best octopus and calamari we ate in Greece! And portions were enough. We paid everything 40Eur and we found it very cheap! English level from the waitress was perfect! Food was brought fast, I mean there is nothing I can say wrong about Ta Kymata! Just the perfect fish taverna! I Ammoudia we didn’t have good experiences so far, but we were very pleasantly impressed...

Nice little family run tavern with fantastic service - we felt more like guests and not actually customers. Very, very friendly and tolerant with kids The place has that rare genuine Greek ambiance, which is hard to describe - but it's there :) Still, the staff will welcome you in at least several languages - German, English, Italian... Excellent food too, especially liked the appetizers and the grilled sardines. Fresh fish selection - apparently one of the local fishermen (Kostas) works exclusively for the place :) Make sure to try the fresh kalamari, perhaps...
