First day we had to choose between Anemomilos and the neighbouring Mouragio. Mouragio was really crowded and there was no one at Anemomilos. Of course we chose Mouragio. The food there was good, but the grilled octopus was quite tough. Next day we decided to give Anemomilos a chance - we didn't regret that choice. We were still the only clients, so we got one of the tables that has a partial see view. The food was excellent, the grilled octopus was perfect, the staff was friendly and the prices quite normal. We ate there 4 times (all of them lunch, no dinner), and we were also quite satisfied with the food and the service. Still it remains a mystery why Anemomilos was always empty and...

We were really looking forward to a good seafood meal, but this restaurant was a major letdown. The anchovies and fried squid were incredibly dry, flavorless, and clearly frozen — not what you’d expect from a place that markets itself as a seafood restaurant. Even worse, they seemed to be fried in old or low-quality oil, which only made the dishes more unpleasant.

The roasted eggplant was another disappointment. It had a distinctly sour, off-putting taste that made us wonder if it was starting to spoil. Serving vegetables in that condition is not only unprofessional, it’s potentially unsafe.
