Aiolos — Restaurant in Preveza Municipality

They wrote an extra fee for a paper tablecloth on the check 2 times (2*4euros). This happened on the second visit, the first time they didn’t write it down on our bill, which was saved, such extras. Avoid, there are restaurants in this place that do not try to deceive everyone except the Greeks. This is an extremely unpleasant thing to encounter in Greece. We have been here for more than 10 years and have never encountered anything like this... There is no such deception in Lefkada with view restaurants... 👀 Maybe they think that stupid turist can’t read in 🇬🇷 but now all has transalate. Avoid 🫶 *they sad you can take mini bottles of olive 🫒 oil at table :) This was awful... After this situation we asked our mother (she knew greek) both bills, and yes only in second was this charges... •4 euros for paper 2 times guys (mean 8euros oer bill) •I asked for this at bill, they don't come 3 times -) •At aby tine personal can do mistake even you 100 years at business •At Lefkada doesn't charge for paper, but there it will be normally, at...

Scoperto x caso mentre passavamo sulla panoramica strada litoranea di Kanali, ci ha colpito la sua magnifica posizione con vista mare ed il grande e bel ristorante moderno, con vetrate frontali e laterali scorrevoli, che permettono una magnifica vista, sia durante le belle giornate calde estive in cui si gode un tramonto eccezionale, che anche durante la stagione meno bella,fredda e ventilata, senza dimenticare l'ampio spazio esterno x il parcheggio gratuito e sicuro.

Ci ha invogliato a provarlo anche il vario menu' con molte proposte, esposto all'esterno del ristorante, scritto in greco ed in inglese, con molti piatti di pesce, carne, pasta, contorni e piatti tradizionali della cucina greca, ad un prezzo "giusto" e la bella e grande sala esterna con tavoli disposti in modo ordinato, ben distanziati, puliti, attovagliati, sulla terrazza sopraelevata alla strada costiera esterna.

Per ora siamo stati 2 sole volte, nel tardo pomeriggio di 2 calde giornate del Luglio '25 ed abbiamo degustato vari piatti allegati in foto, mussaka, fresco fritto di calamari, fresche patate fritte, zucchine fritte con salsa alla menta, pesce fresco di mare fagri' (dentice rosso) alla griglia, frappe' freddo greco di caffe' e latte, ben zuccherato (nostra particolare richiesta) ed abbiamo speso la 1° volta 34€ e la 2° volta, con il pesce fagri' da 1,2 kg e zucchine fritte, sempre con una bottiglia di acqua minerale da 1,5L ed 1 frappe' freddo greco .... 62,50€, che personalmente ritengo un ottimo rapporto qualita'/ prezzo x l'ottima cucina, il pesce fresco di mare ed il prezzo finale.

Siamo stati una 3° volta ed ho mangiato un piatto di linguine ai gamberoni con sugo di pomodoro fresco che erano ...ECCEZIONALI.....sia x la qualita' dei prodotti che x la cottura, la pasta era al dente ed erano ben amalgamati con il sugo ed i gamberoni freschi, sgusciati x quasi tutto il corpo, cosi' da renderli ancora piu' buoni.....in poche parole cucinati come in uno dei migliori ristoranti italiani....ma in una quantita' superiore, che potevano mangiarli in 2 persone...ed a un prezzo "giusto"....15€ !!

PS : x gli Italiani come noi, che dopo 10/15 gg di cucina greca, seppur buona, hanno la mancanza di un buon piatto di pasta cucinata come in Italia....provateli e non ve ne pentirete di sicuro !!

Il servizio dei 2 camerieri e del giovane proprietario Jorgos e' veloce, gentile, esplicativo, con un buon inglese e sempre con un bel sorriso.

Sicuramente torneremo x conoscere e degustare altri buoni piatti del vario ed ampio menu' nelle prossime settimane, durante la nostra lunga vacanza in zona. Se passate da queste parti ve lo consiglio, non vi...

The place feels fresh and clean. It has a front row view to the sea. We stayed 5 days in the area and ended up dining 3 times there. We dined in a highly praised restaurant in Preveza as well as in Ammoudia. No contest, Aiolos was the best place to be. Food wise, the best eggplant imam dish I've ever had. Their shrimp pasta makes a perfect combo with their shrimp saganaki. Shrimps are big and juicy. Pasta just tasted great. I dunno if it was the butter they used. They're usually bland and you're there for the shrimps. Not this pasta. We had the Aiolos salad and they nailed the sweet and sour dressing. Tasted great and it looked fresh.
