Panorama — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

I don't know what happened to this place. It was one of the best places in Skiathos with fantastic view on the city, airport and Skopelos and it had one of top 3 pizza that I ever had in my life. We were coming here 3 years in a row, and it was excellent every time. But this year, everything has changed... Service is still pretty good, everyone are very helpful and nice, but they all seem like they are somehow scared, not feeling good in they own skin, waiters started to wear microphones and headphones to hear when the meals are ready and we are not in hot spot NYC reastaurant, we are supposed to be in a Greek taverna, headphones are really not expected in this natural environment, it just seems weird so it downside the whole atmosphere in a reastaurant. There was a problem with wasps when food arrived, they were all around us, but the hostess was quick and brought to us burned ground coffee which helped instantly. And now about the main thing - food. Well they probably changed the cook, or maybe owner of the whole reastaurant changed, but this pizza was the worst pizza that my husband and I ever had. And we went there specially for that pizza. It was almost without salt, we literally had to put some salt on the pizza. Dough was terrible, unsalted, heavy on our stomach, gave was trouble houres after eating it. Topping wasn't better either. All in all don't go there, at least not for pizza...or Greek salad, we also had that one as appetizer, not to good. PS. Have been to skiathos twice now and have eaten in a variety of different places. However, this restaurant is by far the best!

It is a family run business and every single member of staff are just amazing. The view is just breathtakingly beautiful - you look down over the green hills and onto the town. The food was AMAZING. We visited the restaurant twice in the week that we have been here and the first time I had bruchetta and a margarita pizza - it was gorgeous. Pizza was cooked in an impressive pizza over.

The second time we visited, it was the middle of a huge thunder storm. It was extremely busy as they couldn't sit anyone outside because of the rain. They assured us that they would find us a table, and we were reading the menu within 10 minutes! This time I had a pasta dish with chicken and a creamy sauce - I was so impressed!

Simply the best restaurant in Skiathos! What can one ask for? Awesome food? They've got it! Wonderful panoramic view of the island with the Mediterranean sea filling your sight? They've got it! Professional, friendly and caring personnel ? They've got it! There are many wonderful and creative dishes to choose from, all kinds of tastes, from spicy to neutral and sweet, from meat to pasta, to seafood and pizza/calzone. Top notch ingredients and meat. Everything was very well cooked and tasteful. There's also a great selection of all kinds of wine to accompany your food. And last but not least, the desserts. The wonderful Chocolate pie with ice cream and frozen praline. The creative Banoffee with the flowing caramel served in a big glass. And that view from the balcony... Just the cherry on the top!
