A fabulous restaurant which serves delicious Greek food - after finding it by chance on our first day, we kept coming back because it was so good. There were so many delicious options from which to choose - moussaka, grilled fresh fish or king prawns, chicken souvlaki, lamb and a whole array of tempting vegetable dishes such as stuffed peppers and dolmades. A mention should also go to the excellent staff who were all so welcoming and extremly friendly - we were served mainly by Elena and Leonidas on our visits and they both spoke very good English and were always happy to stop and chat. Like everyone else involved in Greek tourism services, they work incredibly hard during their long shifts, so it's a miracle that they manage to do this with a smile every day. If this restaurant was near my home I'd be there every day! Thank you to everyone at Taverna Manolis for taking care of us during our week in beautiful Skopelos - you are a jewel inside a jewel. Read moreThis is a lovely taverna centrally located in the charming village of Neo Klima, Skopelos. Our rented apartment was literally meters away from Manolis taverna. When we arrived, last day of May they were still closed so we were exploring the tavernas around the village. Once Manolis was opened we hardly missed a day. As we are pesceterians, their home cooked Greek meals, like stuffed tomatoes and peppers, aubergine with peppers and onions, gigantic beans and Greek salad was a food heaven. The staff is super friendly and hard working, the view from the terrace is great and the prices are very reasonable. There is also an option for take away. Leónidas and Stela are first class super hard working front staff, always kind, helpful and go an extra mile to make the experience of the customer great. We thank you for your service! A very much recommended taverna if...
Read moreA lovely place to eat offering you a standard menu or a trip up to the kitchen to chose from the traditional meals of the day. We had a mixture of both and our favourites were definitely the daily meals, the highlight being stuffed peppers, but so many other dishes looked and smelled wonderful. The meals like chicken and pork souvlaki were good but we had nicer of these elsewhere. We also had bread at the start that we didn't ask for and although was cheap (only 50cents a head) we only ate 1 slice from the whole basket so it was a real waste of food, I'd far rather this was only provided if ordered. The views are beautiful over the bay too. I would absolutely make it a mission to eat there if you wanted delicious...
