Apanema, meaning "without wind" a 10 min walk from town of Linaria is a gem of a beach with a taverna (same name) featuring fresh made and oven prepared Greek traditional foods made by the wonderful family-taverna's mother. Everything is of excellent quality and wonderfully prepared. Quintessential Greece, the way Greece was, apart from the noise of so-called civilization. Skyros is a place less traveled, thus more authentic, more friendly, more hospitable and where food and life taste great! A special corner of your own in Greece.

The RESTAURANT: The restaurant probalby had the best food I had on Skyros. Plus, the rose wine they have is also great. Very helpful staff in the restaurant too. The BEACH: When you pay your 5€ fee ONE drink is included in that. This however is still quite expensive for what I saw in Skyros on other beaches. The service was also lackluster. Note: My rating of 5 stars ONLY reflects the restaurant and NOT the beach. The beach would probably get 3 stars because of the price and the service.

Got here at late afternoon, was met with a big smile and friendly service. The Greek Salad as delicious and the fried squid tasted as it was fresh from the sea. The cold beer (Alpha) to wash it down the later afternoon sun was very welcomed. Fantastic Taverna, great service, great price and Great people. A must visit if coming to Skyros.

Went here for a holiday with my girlfriends! The suite we stayed in was clean, and the location was awesome! Sia, at the front desk, was so helpful and gave great recommendations! We arrived quite late at night, but the hotel had our transportation already set up. She had a porter waiting for us at the hotel, Petros, and he was great and got us settled in quickly. Everything was smooth sailing from the time we landed in Santorini to our departure! Great little shared pool area with AMAZING views. Our suite had a private hot tub on the top balcony which had the most beautiful sunset views! Could not have asked for a better stay in Santorini! Pics are viewsof the sunset from...

Just visited Skyros and stayed in Agnadema B&B. The place offers a breathtaking view. Really family oriented with clean rooms and great garden area. Close to the port. ||||I rented a 4 bed room. Very happy with the hygiene including daily cleaning. Room had a small balcony with table and chairs and great view. Also included a small fridge. Wi Fi available. ||||Mrs Katie (the owner) offers traditional breakfast with homemade fruit-marmelades and ''tiganopsoma'' (traditional pancakes). ||||Available chill out spaces for book reading and enjoying the view.
